Actually names are very important. Its great for marketing purposes, and it draws people closer to the game. That combined with the font, then the style of the text. Also with how close it is to familiar comes. Like Call of Duty is a well known. So another commonly known name like game Call of the dead. See... people will remember the game more.

Names are very important, especially for this community.

Just look at how people lost their minds and flipped out at CCP just for the idea of changing the name of DUST along with porting it. The community acted as if they were dropping the game just because of a name change.

It is funny how often this community has gotten mad over getting what it asked for.

Project Legion was pitched to us as a half-assed rush job, and we didn't even find out that they'd try to keep our characters and progress until later.

That's why we were mad. Stop trying to spin what actually happened in order to try and tear us down just because we don't agree with you.

That's not a discussion. That's mudslinging.

How is pitching work in progress as a rush job? Are you drunk or something? They pitched what they want to do and why they wanted to do it and everyone started crying. It was the name change that made people come to all sorts of foolish conclusions. CCP told us they are giving us what we wanted and it made everyone cry. I get that the name change is important. Had they not looked into changing the name everyone probably would have thanked them.
