I am just going by order in military ranks. General is usually the highest but they added in marshal and 15 who knows?
But I am guessing its master chief.
master chief is an enlisted rank. Way below general. And this is a good sign that you spend...too much money on dust.
Like I'm at lvl 4 with over 2+ years of dust without a single penny spent and your almost done ranking up with less time than me
Anyways, I think it does just stop. You know, you can't keep going if there isn't a and after. Or at least, when you do reach it, it will continue to add till its full but won't be promoted.
Field marshal is highest rank in British army I think. Which is equivalent to let's say admiral of fleet here in US navy (go navy!) which is Highest rank during war time. Usually the highest ranking person in peace time is also the secretary of said branch which (speaking in US) is under te secretary of defense.
So now you are a secretary. Your fighting days are over. You accept orders from your president, CCP

Supreme commander??? Meh. I don't like that name. It should have been general of *branch* or admiral or gel even commander in chief. But then again the game isn't USA so -_-
