It's when you're damn proud of your KDR and it's barely above average, simply because you worked for it.
It's when you still use the Assault Rifle despite other weapons outclassing it. When people QQ about you using an "outdated" weapon while they're on the new wave.
It's when you suffered 10 deaths in a match but you're still willing to change the tide of the game.
It's when your corporation has a suicide mission against Teamplayers but you're not afraid to lose for a cause.
It's when you get mocked by players only to shut them the **** up in match one day when they underestimated your growth.
It's when you put enough experience in the game to recognize who's got heart and who don't in only a matter of seconds.
I've been hear since the end of closed beta... We had to endure a lot of crap that newer players wouldn't and couldn't dream of. I've been hanging with CCP even when I invited my friends over and they left because of dropship missle spam. I was there when the Gallente were mocked, and that's all I ever used. I remember trying to build up a Corp when I was left as the sole active member after JUST being recruited into it. I remember spending weekends practicing and putting in time with players for many of them to leave and only a few would stay. I remember losing Corp battles back in Pre-PC/Seraphim Initative War. I remember finally getting into PC to only be smacked around. I remember taking a break to come back and be denied PC because "Cubs said so" and then getting our asses handed to us when we went up against them with the massive coalition. Four years of Dust and we had no district or much ISK, but we did have respect. If someone heard of us, they respected us. Even got props after the war from some of the players in the alliance.
I. Never. EVER. QQ. If something needed to be fix, I spoke on it and even tried to push for it, but I never QQ. At this point, I know for damn sure QQ never works, yet I'm still seeing players QQ.
Most of y'all don't know what HTFU is because y'all never needed to.
