Is anyone else tickled on the inside when you are on a team of blueberries who are sniping from the redline (kind of crouched in a horizontal line) and some redberry on the opposing team picks them all off one by one down the line?
I know it was kind of off topic, but dislike snipers that much (especially useless ones) that I am touched when I see it happen.
And back on topic:
I think a useful solution to pubs would be for CCP to add a new contract for solo players.
SOLO CONTRACTS
- Solo players randomly get placed in teams of 16
- The game mode is random and cannot be selected (so that it doesn't take forever to matchmake and also doesn't lag the community out more with overload of content)
- This mode is the only mode where people have a chance of getting put in Ambush
- Add in the actual Orbital Strike component in our Warbarge that allowed us to purchase them since not many people running solo will be able to get 3.2/4k wp to drop an orbital.
- OR.....Give us single precision orbital strikes for 400wp a piece (precision strike amount negotiable)
- Also turn Friendly Fire on in this contract.
PUBLIC CONTRACTS
- Get rid of Domination (yes I said it) and just increase the amount of points needed to win Acquisition but make the objective move around more (to fully utilize all the panels on the map)
- DO NOT allow solo players into matches (it will get rid of any complaining AND utilize the whole reason for reducing squad sizes to 4 players)
- Remove Ambush from Public Contracts
FW and PC stay as they are.

I am by no means a silly Acquisition person, in fact I love Domination. However, the game modes are too similar to keep both and having both PLUS a solo game mode will only make matchmaking that more frustrating. The SAME thing can be accomplished in Acquisition as Domination because I will reiterate; They are too SIMILAR.

You can't complain people who squad up always smack you if you don't want to squad up. As I have have said for a while now, it's not the squad thats the problem, the fact that they can just use seemingly unlimited amounts of proto gear against guys in standard and advanced is.
Meta level lockouts need to be implemented for it to be more balanced cos proto gear can give a significant advantage.
I, myself, squad up with corpmates all the time. There's no use for us or CCP to continue to ignore the needs of solo players any longer though. Some people just plain ol' don't like to squad up and they shouldn't be forced to just to run some matches that aren't one sided.
There's a super easy solution to the problem that can keep things separate but also cater to the needs of both solo players and team players. Imagine how much easier it will be to get into matches if you have full squads of 4 queuing into matches as opposed to Scotty trying to fit people in because he ****** up by putting a couple solo players into a queue with a bunch of squads. PLUS we get to stop hearing the solo players (no offense guys your grievances are rightly expressed) complaining on the forums about uneven matches or even about squads of people complaining that they couldn't win because their blues sucked.
Aside from catering to squadders and soloers, it also gives a feasible mode for new players who got bumped up.
It solves far too many problems to even pass it over.
