Rather than hit a weapon that works as intended with such a considerable nerf, why not fix the vanilla and Burst so they're both viable alternatives?
While we're at it, rename the AHMG as Breach HMG. The vanilla can be the Assault variant.

A tactical would probably make people rage as it would be more of a punchy artillery cannon.
Burst is fine as it is, name wise.
Current Assault works like a Breach (low RoF, high damage) while the vanilla/base has more in common with an Assault weapon (though it doesn't actually need a name change)

Based off of how the racial rifles naming works, sure, but the Min, Cal and Amarr were introduced after the AR variants and were, to an extent, modelled on them (CR based on Burst AR, RR based on Breach AR and Scrambler based on Tac AR and then all were given an Assault variant)
When we look at side arms, the prefix 'rule' doesn't apply; there's no Burst SMG, just the vanilla, Breach and Assault, while we have a Tactical Scrambler Pistol that's not the base variant.
That being said, the only name that needs to be changed is the current Assault HMG, simply because it doesn't behave like an Assault weapon.
