Ok, the situation in this match (US Caterlake Biomass Skirmish) was that the attackers were firmly entrenched on A B and C. I found a railgun turret and thought I could at least whittle away at the shields while the rest of the team recaptured the points, so we'd at least have some chance of winning the match. I kept getting the +15 Cestus damage notification over and over, but the shields never moved a bit. A few other team members joined in on other large turrets. 3 of us firing constantly at it didn't budge the shields a bit. Not sure if it was related to the enemy having control of all 3 points or not, never ran into that exact situation before. |

There does appear to be a way to drop the MCC quickly although I've not discovered it yet.
I was in the attacking team yesterday and we moved to the second phase with the MCC in low shield.
Very shortly after that the game was over and MCC destroyed (far too quickly for the Outpost to have done it unless it's damage got buffed last week?) but every time I've manned a turret and shot the MCC while defending I've never noticed an appreciable difference either (shield or armour)
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bug/exploit at work here |

Well, previous weekends I've been able to do noticeable damage with a railgun turret, even by myself. Usually at the start of a match if I'm on defense I'll hop in one and whittle down some shields while we're waiting for the attackers to move up the field. Beats just sitting there. Granted, I wasn't getting the damage notification most the time back then, or the points, but I was able to damage it. Last night though, nothing happened. |
