Let your voices be heard!
Clearly the majority of the playerbase would love a next gen DUST 514 or hell even a port to better technology so that we may actually see the true potential for the game.
I love DUST 514, the scary thing is I'm not even 100% sure why. But I know we would all love a new DUST.

You know damn well our voices will not be heard Commander, these threads are never acknowledged by CCP. I now hope a company that loves progress buys this game from CCP and does right by this game, it deserves it imo.
I am stubborn, I will not go quietly in the night while the FPS games market is saturated by COD clones.

At this point I'd actually move to PC if need be, lol, but ideally it would be on the PS4 to corner the console market as was originally intended. The current iteration of DUST just seems like a cash cow now, however entertaining it may be. It is just a timepasser for me until my next online career (most likely MGO on PS4).
I feel the same way only the other way around, I would like it on PC a lot more but I know the game could still achieve a ton on the PS4 so I dont really care if it means we get something in the future.

If CCP could guarantee KB/M support for a PS4 release (anyone know if KB/M works on ps4?) then I will accept that to be quite honest.
Still PC is kinda where the game should have been from day 1..... I do recognise however that we have a loyal playstation fan base and don't want to exclude them. [You can use PS controllers on a PC if you wish you damn controller junkie masochists]
Any CCP or CPM members want to drop us a few crumbs?

Never heard of that game but cool man yea the xbox controller is kinda advertised as can be used with PC easy. The PS controllers usually require a little program download before use from my experience but work just as good.
IMHO both types of interface have their pros and cons. In an equal playing field I feel that KB/M is superior for fine adjustment, fine aiming. Where as the controller is clearly a much better thing to use with certain vehicles (cough dropships) and hell in other games it is much better for hack and slashes, fighting games, racing or driving games, arcade games...
KB/M - FPS and RTS games is where this beast shines!

As soon as I saw the legion video, I knew it was going to be vaporware. 16 months later, that opinion is still completely valid. I mean, 5 months ago logibro said " when(if) a beta happens....." And still people act like a port is just about to be announced. People really need help thinking critically I guess.
I actually made this thread because I heard CPM dude on podcast mention that making noise about wanting a port is a good idea.... so just playing my part.
Might as well attempt it right?

I recorded a little bit of video of a FW battle I was in last night.
It was the worst performance I have ever seen in DUST. Literally 2 or 3 frames per second with massive lag.
Port this damn thing! The PS3 cannot handle your code.

What must we do? Should we stop spending money on this game (But then I fear CCP would say, well there is not enough money to do a port)
Or do we continue to spend money and push for a next gen dust / port - showing CCP that there is money to be made but we really want that to contribute to something more than the last days of DUST on PS3?

The idea for this game runs deep and multifaceted. An economy, hierarchy, team work, a +50 kill points that reward us for our tactical play and brute force at times, variety of races/suits/weapons/technology/suit bonuses. All these contribute to an amazing IDEA for a game. However, lately, I've been finding this game less appealing for reasons that go beyond this cool idea. The problem is the technology. 500mb of RAM on a PS3 is worse than my Galaxy tab 1. And that thing is OLD. Problems such as lag, hit detection, and HORRIBLE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE matchmaking, have made this game stale with time. Hotfix FoxFour seems promising, but will fail to deliver a beautiful game for the reasons afore mentioned. This game needs to port to PC or PS4. Whichever one, they need to do it soon. This IDEA of a game has had enough BETA testing. Let's get the real game now, CCP. Quit slacking. CCP Rattati liked my comment. That's progress, right??

Who else feels that this thread is devoted to a worthy cause!?
What system would you like to see DUST ported to? Or are you quite happy if it would go to anything as long as it is better than the PS3

Agreed however for me and most others I imagine its PC or PS4 both before Xbox1.
