For me, I felt sad watching this and knowing it will likely never be us pulling this off. More bad memories of FanFest 2013's grandiose vision that never happened.

Didn't expect this to turn into a phonetics discussion.

Steven Spielberg was an amazing director. EDIT: Btw the Scope announcer's dialect is confirmed to not be canon. He pronounces it Am-Arr when it is actually Uh-Marr. So the pronunciation of Wiyrkomi might be off. I've always pronounced it: Weer-Koh-Mee. I don't mean to sound combatative, but I've been singing that song too long with too little result.

Alright then, phonetics discussion I guess.
Part of me still wants to hope that this and CCP Seagull's address containing concept art of the old orbital elevator as part of her discussion of the future wasn't a coincidence.
I'm just not sure I can be that optimistic anymore.

This is like a kick in our dicks/vaginas right now.
I'd imagine we could do this, although I wonder how well the game mechanics would fit properly with lore. Unless the EVE player had some kind of Clone Vat Bay installed in said ship, it would primarily be PvE against the NPC crew onboard.
The EVE Art Team seems to be pursuing designing interior diagrams for ships, so those could be used to create playable layouts.
IF such a feature were ever to arrive, it would likely take the form of what was described in that video with the addition of ejecting the Capsule from the ship. I would also imagine that since Dust characters aren't trained for ships, this would require another EVE player nearby in a capsule who could warp in and board the ship to complete the hijacking.
