Has reducing player count per match type been discussed or mentioned?
Look-
All modes are 16vs16. This causes lots of stomps and *.*.* on different 'sized' modes.
So how about changing the amount of players allowed?
Skirmish- used the biggest maps and needs the most people
Keep at 16vs16 (or if possible, 32vs32 cuz I've been waiting so long) Why? Map is big and there is a lot of action at every point so lots of members is encouraged.
Ambush- ambush is unique because it can vary. There are some games with big maps and others with small maps.
I believe ambush should stay at 16vs 16 but games start with an 8vs8 and more people are added to 'balance' each side.
Domination and Aquisition- these 2 are the most hated modes based on what I've seen on the forums.
How about reducing both to 8vs8? Since there is only one point, there is less a need for more players and can make battles more "balanced"
Reducing the player limit will give quicker battes, less stomps and more ways to 'unredline' (less players attacking you and lots of map space so you can flank.) in domination.
Almost the same for aquisition aswell. Less amount because of less players. Less uneven matches, quicker battles, better chances of fighting back.
With all this said, we will reduce amount of Dom battle, maybe revive aquisition, and make skrim te best mode again.
With this said, is there anyway to implement a second type of 8man/16man squad???
So, new squads- Fire team- can be used anywhere (4man) best for skirm because of multiple objectives. (Same) Squad- (8man) best for domination/skirm and can 'bring back' Corp battles, except 8vs8) (new) Squad- 8man FW- same Platoon- 16 man PC (same) Platoon- 16 man AMB- new 16 man option, also like a Corp battle but in ambush only.
Extra- (if 32vs32, or at least 24vs24 becomes a thing which it won't most likely) larger squad.
TLDR- you son of a lazy @$$ b!+ch read the whole thing.....lol
GÇóReduce amount of players in Dom and aquisition to end redlined and provide better chance of playing well. GÇó make skrim better because of the first point GÇó new squads so that Dom/aquisition can also he 'Corp battles'

It seems to me the most basic way to help balance matchmaking would be by Meta Level. I am just finally getting suits into the 30s and I can feel the advantage over lower players. I don't know how high meta level can get, but I feel if the range wasn't sufficient enough to balance you could rework the meta levels on things to create a better range to balance to.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no real way how you are chosen. You are either in the academy and play with others in the academy, or your not and you stomp are are stomped. I would like the meta level thing tho, preferably skill caps.
