In FW today I went solo, and unsurprisingly I got on a bad team. Fortunately the enemy team was equally bad but when I went to the enemy home point I stumbled across something that both warms my heart and makes me worried.
Two scouts, about 30 meters from each other, one enemy, one friendly shooting shotguns and Ion Pistols at each other like they are going to do damage.
This fight lasted what seemed to be ages but in reality only a few minutes.
It was like watching two handicapped electric eels fight each other above water.
At that moment I was happy with DUST and decided to call it a night on that note.

There need to be like a SP threshold or something. Don't know why I see so many of them in FW. I've always wanted a node based system.
Based on your Lifetime stats you'll be restricted to smaller sized battlefields in FW as their trust and confidence goes up with you. They'll want you for the battles that really matter.
So lets say there are 3 nodes you can fight on. (I'd like 4 but for simplicity sake just three)
Small Nodes - Small Maps only, 4 players each side and must have strictly low stats. Lower reward than FW currently
Medium Nodes - Medium & Small sized maps, 8 players each side and more relaxed stats, generally the most played I'd think. Medium Reward would be what we have now.
Large Nodes - All map sizes, 16 players each side no restrictions, winner takes all. Larger Reward than FW currently.
I feel that this would incentivise lesser skilled or newer players to have a chance at FW with a lesser chance they'll get curb stomped by elite corps. Said players will have the ability to try bigger nodes if they wish but I'm thinking that will sort itself out as they feel it more rewarding to fight in a node more appropriate to their skill level.
Meanwhile the veterans would be locked out of the smallest node, possibly dipping into and out of access to the medium node from time to time due to stat fluctuations. I do this to try and keep skilled players from looking for constant easy wins. (or maybe have medium and large open to vets and let the 8 man limit balance it)
Would this separate the FW base? A little bit, but it's a healthy amount. Not enough to kill FW entirely. It more so separates the vets from the noobs but not the other way around. I don't like the idea of locking everybody out. In nature, things naturally go from high to low, so I'm stopping the higher guys from wanting to stomp people who can't fight back while keeping the mode relevant, profitable and most importantly enjoyable for everybody.
Now, whether we can do this or not is the question and sadly I don't think we can but that is my dream.
