I've been down the bitter vet posting before, it never ends well. All the logical conversations and how you've helped others goes out the door quickly when you turn yourself into someone the people in this subsection can unite against.
They're bored, bad, and dumb. They can't make content themselves so they'll turn to trolling and slinging poo at one another pretending competition exists without a prize to aim for. Which is why the 100% goal is a good idea. What community do you think it's hurting when that community can't compete against 1 corp? And that one corp are all good friends who don't want to play with the peasants, and none clan blame them.
CCP killed this game, not AE or any vet group that ever existed. Fanfest 2014 and lack of attention to PC mechanics for far too long lead to our current situation. And CCP plans for the future will do next to thing to bring in new blood.
So you guys need to find a way to enjoy what you have now and expand upon it using yourselves because there won't be many others coming. |

And even if they were, the community is too weak to accomplish anything. If you try to have meaningful balance discussions and ask for there practical experience outside of Pubs, they'll get actively mad when you include FW as a pub. It negates them because no one is willing to put in that amount of effort to enter PC from scratch.
It takes connections or billions, and no one has either. So the community may snark at them, but they on a whole have accepted there inferiority. Veders Fist was proof of that. |

Numbers say otherwise. Like I said, I tried to stop the conflict. The aggression was entirely coming from NF 2.0/FA. I know this because my connections to both leadership in Rust as well as Bleeding Sun. Only when I state my public stance on the matter, am I attacked... from just NF 2.0/FA leadership & lackies. Simple ethics. Rust was building up newcomers in PC, Bleeding Sun were tearing them down. One side is going to try to burn what's left of PC, and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, Rust is the only side willing to prevent it, no matter how long it takes.

You're speaking to a guy whose been a part of teams who've proven time and time again that numbers are meaningless against an organized team backed with strong logistics team. And AE has both plus FA.
Now with CP in place they can actually move around more freely, as there enemies who try to merge into fighting forces won't be able to keep up with CP, and if they tried through multiple corpse the disorganization would ultimately kill them inside out as it always has.
Plainly speaking, I'm hoping AE crushes this game and sends CCP a clear message of suck a huge ******* ****. |

Sota. From joining FA, to leading FA; flipping prima & WTFrench districts for DNS... To even asking Kane to back me up in the re-creation of Negative-Feedback... The true Logistics and leadership on that side of the Americans is gone dude. Himiko is the only one left. Cubs is gone, Kane is gone, Zatara doesn't even own a PS3 anymore, Skelator barely plays, and I retired by severing ties after NF's implosion. I'm telling you, NF 2.0 would have to stop tearing each other down internally before they can even accomplish their goal. As For FA? Not 4 months ago, these very same players hating on my thread were asking for NF's help every step of the way not get flipped by OH. I remember fielding 12 NFs in an FA PC, assisting Himiko when his leadership had their mouths open. I also remember the swift execution FA would have received when Badger went off at the mouth disrespecting NF, just because I asked FA leadership to filter certain players to maintain better relations in the alliance.This in turn would lead to a pivotal point of Himiko re-activating Fatal entirely. The first folks who were ready to kill a feeble FA were none other than Anon, Demens, even Kane was ready to dead them. Maybe if I didn't stand in the way of that decision, we would see a very different turn of events. These guys are honestly salty because I succeeded in my goals, and made them eat their words when they had to come to NF for help to stay alive, the very corp they told me would not become a force.

Plus, Demens knows his ****, I just don't know how active of a role he actually has.
Besides, logistics is on there side in terms of ISK, experienced players, and basic map positioning. An idiot could guide them to victory with there current situation, lol.
The only way they could possibly **** up is if they over-sold clones during a losing streak and let too many corps get too many districts launching cheaper attacks.
The community may have more clones, but the KDR will quickly favor AE's side, and they can buy out a lot of talent just sitting on the side-lines, like myself <3 |

Demens is intelligent I will say that, but he is too much of a follower to be held up to Himiko. What you spoke of in terms of your claim of experience, had all those game changers active. Now they just have Himiko, and a gang of wannabe leaders so internally dramatic, that they are flipping CEO's on a bi-weekly basis. It's like a Hydra with 9 heads on one body.

I don't know exactly what point in history this is referencing, but Kane definitely did approach myself and other members of FA numerous times and did engage in some manipulation in certain cases to draw certain members of FA into joining NF under inaccurate pretenses iirc. I could be wrong I'm a bit fuzzy on it.
With the corollary that attempting to assimilate FA is the equivalent of a death sentence...I don't know that it can be claimed that all attempts/plans/ideas that would have resulted in FA being 'dead' were dissolved because of your protests.
I don't pretend to know the extent to which your influence helped FA with regards to NF Silly, but certainly I appreciate the loyalty it would demonstrate for you to have been our advocate.

Sota...you're either blinded by bias or trolling for a response but either way I'll set the record straight.
I have always revered what we accomplished in TP.
I've ranked corps a few times and everytime I've listed TP above FA...and that hasn't changed. When someone asks me about TP I have a lot of love and fond memories of my time there.
The time I spent in TP was some of the best times I ever had on dust. A sharp contrast to the skepticism I felt from Subdreddit when I wanted to help people and belong so much...and the ego's that precluded camaraderie despite the best efforts of people like piercing serenity and jaden longshot.
I may think that the way cubs handled locking was a poor decision when we could have manned up and finished DNS off...and I may think that he failed to live up to his promise to provide me with funds for a new corp when TP left the game....but I still think Cubs was a fantastic FC, still think the people in TP for the most part were amazing...and a lot of what I learned in TP prepared me to succeed in creating and nurturing FA.
The very relationship of HT and Cubs changed the way I thought about leadership.
Eschewing ego is something HT achieved so well that I can only be in awe of his character.
He probably still has ugly words to say if you brought my name up...but I have no qualms about paying him the respect he earned from me.
It's not a contradiction in terms for one to be critical of mistakes and still think highly of someone.
I may think silly's ego and his hard headed personality when it comes to being criticized or reproved in a way he finds disrespectful but isn't intended that way are critical flaws...but that doesn't mean I don't also think highly of Silly.
You won't see me ever saying anything antagonistic here about Silly because of our friendship precludes such wasteful demagoguery , regardless of disagreements.
In short, Silly is very much aware of my opinion of him and I know he's smarter than to be roped into the machinations this forum detrimentally breeds.

Basically, we had asked FA to assimilate into NF to help out the push, but when that didn't happen and status quo did not change, the resentment grew until the situation changed. No one wants to go to war when your one ally is enfeebled, but the people in FA, the family in FA, and then their ability to dust themselves off in fight changed our minds.

I knew what we were getting into that's why I got them early to better our relations I might have asked them to join NF once but I didn't press it I just wanted them to be our allies..I saw in them what I saw in myself so it made it since to me |

I never said you never continued to praise them for there obvious achievements, just that you're quick to jump to the other side of the fence over minor issues.
