Even if CCP doesn't get around to porting Dust for years, you don't want to lose the SP and name you have created for yourself. Uninstalling isn't a bad idea if Dust put a bad taste in your mouth. You don't want to play a game that you don't enjoy playing. You definitely should not want to play a game without a future. Keep in touch on the forums, on /r/Dust514, and the Dust twitter accounts. If nothing else you can see what is up with the community every now and then. Maybe reinstall in a few patches just to see what has changed. Warlords 1.4 or 1.5 would probably be a good time to rejoin Dust. With the current development time tables that would be around June 2016. Ripley Riley is on safari until Oct 9th.
