When did all of a sudden PC get more attention than it has ever gotten in its life and get its mechanics almost totally reworked?

When no one was bothering with it. Even after being farmed all to hell for over a year it was a drop in participation that finally got something done on it.

When did FW get a boost in LP?

When it was guaranteed that you were going to be searching for 30 - 40 minutes because participation was at an all time low.

When did FW get "insurance" added?

When the LP boost did very little to boost participation because everyone still said it was too unprofitable.

When did tanks finally get new variants added back in?

When they were rarely seen because the ones available were garbage and could not at all be fitted to be able to play against A/V.

By most normal logic one could easily say that CCP sees participation as "working as intended" and only stops to take a look at things that are so utterly broken that no one even participates. Rattati even kind of backed this up when people were first bitching about the warbarge saying that people are using it so he sees it as fine. I will search for this to quote the exact words.

The number of players who actually want a good honest fight outnumber the number of scrubs out here. They just need to know just how many of us there truly are. By coming to the forums with what you think you connect with others like yourself. If the game actually became legit fights all over the Eve universe with no glitches the trolls would lose interest and leave. They'd have nothing to destroy. That's why they're here. They're a bunch of sad no-lifers looking to bring someone down to they're level. When it doesn't work they rage and leave. No-shows is a sign of weakness, lack of leadership ability, cowardice, and another sign that you probably suck as a people person as you obviously have no friends willing to fight with you, because you suck lol! This whole "tears" bs is how they attempt to keep you quite on the forums so they can troll, but I got your back bro! They don't want it with me because they have nothing to come at me with. Just playing the pub lottery for an hour or two then running a couple of FW matches then moving on to another game or activity is FAR more fun. Why would I waste any portion of my life having to schedule a certain time to be on a video game? Why would I make the commitment of having a district just to bind me to having to treat Dust like a job indefinitely? There is absolutely nothing fun or entertaining about this.
