Guys, it's awesome to see so many new faces going into PC battles! It's a breathe of fresh air from seeing the same ole faces over and over!
A few things I would like to offer to help you guys out though...
1. The FC's word during battle is final!
You win and lose as a team! No individual wins battles! I've seen many try, but PC isn't a pub where you can just carry the team because half the enemy team is full of rejects?! In PC everyone is on comms at a minumum, and if the team is coordinated and not lagging, they're dangerous as they come!
The FC controls the movements of the players on the field with a big paint brush... not a fine tooth comb?! He will lay things out in the beginning of the battle, make adjustments after the first initial contact, and make split second changes based on clear and concise feedback! He will NOT hold your hand! He isn't there to re-educate you on dust tactics and combat!
The FC requires your undivided attention during the planning phase, situational changes to the original plan, and break-glass tactical maneuvers. He does not need to hear every bum ass joke you have to tell?! He does not need to know your kd?! He doesn't want to hear the latest Miley Cyrus joint through the comms while he's trying to lead troops?!
When he gives you a task, DO IT! Unless you are skill-wise unable to comply DO IT! If you disagree calmly relay your opinion from what you are seeing on your end of the battlefield, as he can't see everything, but say it on the way to where he f*cking sent you!
The FC isn't to blame for a loss! It's a team effort! Saying an FC is bad is saying YOU are a bad player on the team as well. He may get caught off guard with map intel, ringers, vehicles, ground troop tactics, and so much more! He has a tough job making hair trigger adjustments, watching the field, responding to vehicles, responding to AV threat to friendly vehicles, etc. He doesn't need to hear you b*tching about his calls after a tough match?! He needs to know, DURING THE MATCH, what is pertinent to the situation on the battlefield BEFORE it's too late for him to make a call. Late info/feedback is just as bad as no info/feedback.
2. No one cares about your kd!
We don't care! It's really simple. No one cares about your domination adventures with you mass driver lol! When I hear someone talking about how they're a slayer what comes to mind is modded strafing and roof top kd padding with splash?! I instantly know he won't be able to secure an outside point with no activity properly as he will be itching to take off after the first opportunity for a kill?!
What we need is dedication to the role YOU type x for! The chat is filled with...
x scout, logi, heavy, Commando, assault, gk, ak, mk, ck, tank all 3 turrets, and dropships... until it's time to do that shite!!!
"Everybody wanna be a bodybuilder, but don't nobody wanna lift these heavy ass weights" -Ronny Colman
Just having the role doesn't mean you're PC ready to run the role. It's more impressive when you x up for the role requested, and can actually do that role good. Scours xing up, but don't got links.... WTF IS YOUR GAME PLAN? Just running around looking cool?
What truly helps the team isn't your bragging ability. It's your efficirncy at a role, teamwork, and ability to communicate effectively.
3. Don't x up if you're broke
Simple.... Stop it! Vehicle pilots are notorious for this! We know they cost their weight in gold, and honestly all the FC's and directors I know break their necks to square you guys away! What I don't wanna see is guys trying to take advantage of that generosity. As a vehicle pilot you MUST manage your isk!
4. No squeakers!
When we say that we don't mean simply younger. We mean maturity level!
You can be 12, and tactical! We just don't wanna hear about anything outside of dust that you have to talk about lol! Stop screaming, squeaking, whining, goofing off, and all around doing relentlessly aggravating child shite?!
Follow instructions, say what's important, and waste no time trying to tell me a joke... please!
5. The leader board means nothing!
I got it.... everyone wants to look like saxonmish lol! Someone dumb, who probably isn't doing PC, told you that the way to get on a roster is to look good on the leader board smh?! Either you knobs are trying to warpoint wh*re, or you're trying to chase kills?! Both of which lose battles?!
Following instructions, constructive criticism, and feedback, a good showing of being a team player, tactical gameplay, role efficiency, and great comms gets you on a PC roster.
5. Finding a team for you!
Not finding a team to carry you?! I see a lot of players do the latter?! You join a team with something to offer in the form of roles and tactics. Not because there's a bunch of big names, but in the battle you're standing out like a sore thumb getting people killed?!
Specialize, specialize, specialize!
6. Raiding!
Stop recruiting out of squad finder and local 30 minutes prior..... the outcome will always be comical?!
Raiding was designed so smaller, less experienced, corps could cut their teeth against the big boys without the outstanding isk cost being a deterrent. Not so you guys could goof off?! If you invite me to one of these unorganized shitefest I wanna get paid! Because I know it's going to be a struggle for the vets you brought in to try to carry the noobs to not so bad a loss, let alone an actual win?!
To use those points correctly how about you first plan the attack, hire an FC, and let him bring a max of 8 guys he can count on? No one want's to FC your rag tag band of domination divas who all just want someone to fly them to an overwatch position?! Seeing a PC squad up in squad finder that says "PC 30 mins looking for ringers" just makes all of us laugh horribly?! This is not the experience you want to continue to give your teammates or yourself in PC.
"Anybody order chaos?"
