Many threads run strong with complaints of cloakers, redline, and jumpy MD players. I feel most of the people who have real difficulty dealing with these issues must be newer players or in starter fits. Seeing as we have energy to back and forth here I decided to make a quick little guide to some of the frustrating things in Dust new players might encounter.
I myself am a new player, only had a character for about 2 months but in that short time I've come to love the game even with all its flaws. So here's my first guide, all criticism welcome. My aim is to let new players know we acknowledge these things exist and there are solutions.

Thanks, it's kind of frustrating seeing so many complaints every day. These aren't sure fire solutions but they are steps in the right direction. I hope new players will at least check the forums before quitting or telling friends this game is dead/broken. |

One post, just Press Attache being a major doucher. I don't ever need to see his posts again so I feel satisfied. Good thing the main post doesn't have his taint. Although I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to muck that up too.
Thank you to those who liked it. I actually will write up a guide on how to be a useful newberry. It won't be a beginners guide to Dust, that's been done many times. But as you said Radiant, how to be useful guide. Mostly in combat etiquette.
Any other ideas you guys think would be useful? |
