Would it be possible to change chat channels so that you have a list of your chat channels available but you have the ability to activate/deactivate them? Meaning rather than all chat channels being automatically on upon loading your character, your list of channels are inactive until you click on it and open the sub menu (where you activate your voice in a channel) and press an option to turn that channel on. This would cut back on the game maintaining the channels while you play and perhaps increase performance.
Explaination:
- All channels are inactive upon loading
> This includes Corp and public chat channels
- While inactive, you do not appear in said chat channel
> You also see no one in the chat channel and recieve no notifications or messages in it
- Press x on a chat channel to open the sub menu, then activate/deactivate it as needed
This will allow people to have as many chat channels as they like while allowing them to control how much they are affected by them. Is this feasible to do?

+1 this way u dont have to leave all ur chats before a PC to reduce lag just to get reinvited to them after. |
