Do you stop in the middle of a gunfigt to let your opponent have a chance to reload so that he doesn't feel bad?

I never said for OP to "git gud". Almost everyday he posts QQ and rants about how bad the game. Some things he rants about can be fixed by reinstalling dust or even getting a better internet.

Some glitches are CCP's fault but what you and OP have forgotten is that it is a skeleton crew. They are trying their best with what little resources they have. I for one applaud their effort. Sure I rage when a bullsh.t glitch kills me or I get the occasional FPS drop, however I keep that sh.t off the forums.

Also all these "git gud" comments are justified. I played against him before and he is not the best player. Hell he is worse than me and I am a scrub.

Every single player has access to a drop ship. It's only militia, but EVERYONE can put enough militia tank on it to get to a roof.

There is literally no excuse for not trying to clear the roof.

So now they are not just camping the cru, they also have snipers up high watching the spawn? You call me delusional, but you make it seem like 4 people on a roof are covering the whole map, which is pretty unlikely.

And once again, controlling the high ground is playing to win, because it denies the enemy space, controls lanes, and provides good visuals, all keys to winning.

This is a game, not real life. People will use whatever tools are available to win, and as long as you keep restricting how you play because of your wrong opinions on how the game should be played instead of how it is, you will never get better, and always be slower.

Also there are sqauds run daily to help people, corps dedicated to training new people and helping "git gud" exist, and I am sure that at one point we had a channel people could jump in and ask questions. And I am pretty sure there is an entire subforum called Rookie Training Grounds where people post guides and give advice.

And I have suggested to OP in the past to try to reinstall the game to help with some of the problems. If he hasn't listened thats on him.

I wouldn't waste my time playing with someone who has a misplaced idea about how to play the game.

I also suspect you probably get ragey on comms, and I prefer calmness while winning.

People don't like it when someone uses a Sniper Rifle the entire match. People prefer it if you use a role that fits the conditions of the match at that particular time. People camping on top of a roof fit the conditions that justify pulling out a Sniper Rifle and having a go.

I'm not telling you how to play, but I am telling you that your mindset is flawed, as far as the manner in which you frame your comments about gameplay. You want to snipe from the redline or go balls deep into the enemy, do what you feel. However, as soon as you deride a valid playstyle as cheap, or abusive, you mark yourself out as someone who does not want to elevate their gameplay, as someone who is, to use the term, a scrub.

I'll be on dust at 10 eastern, but I still don't see what you are going to try to prove to me. That you aren't a scrub? Your comments already prove that. I know I don't have to prove anything to you, because quite frankly you don't seem capable of understanding what I am saying, because this isn't about ability, its about your mindset and approach to the game, not if you can or can not play. That this fact still eludes you after all these posts suggests that no amount of discussion will change that.

This is why you can't shake your losing attitude. I try and be clear, and give you some understanding from a game designer and you can't even fashion a decent response.

If you had read the article you could have made some compelling arguments about gameplay in dust , such as perhaps the game actually is degenerate, but you would rather act like a spoiled child.
