People quit matches because there are plenty of reasons to quit.
Punishing players rather than fixing those reasons is not a solution. Let's see if the CPM2 and the whole concept of the CPM is something that will correct the problem. After this next year we'll know for sure the limits of this process.
P.S. The number one problem that causes all the other problems: map design and win mechanics.

Bad map design. I hate the Gal Lag Facility. It isn't for the lag either. That map is the epitomy of what is wrong with Domination. Also, having to play Dom because that is the only one will load in a reasonable amount of time if ever.
I will now drop that in a heartbeat when the objective is in the main building. It is a turtlefest and now the game has dwindled down to heavy spam.
The sh*t belongs to CCP. Worry about the product not the epeen.

I have had to begrugingly swap up to do stuff I didn't plan on nor want to do on the particular character I'm playing just to try and give a team a chance to win or at least say I helped.
No, I shouldn't have to stop doing the role I want to play just because I have to always go up against tryhard, left brain power players who would just as soon be playing with square game pieces than cool vehicles and sci-fi suits.
Btw is Battlefield 4 that good and better? I'll have to try it.

Yes, remember folks that this game is a requirement and you have sworn an oath to protect and serve people you have never met at all costs. When you join a match you must fight that match. Fun is not part of your mission.
You ever get the feeling that players demanding one play the game lest they be called names are smelly and probably need to wash off the month old swamp a*s?

Can you read at all Press, because none of what you are saying is what we are talking about? No one said tanks are bad, just that only being able to play one way is a ******** idea. Especially when its a fringe area of the game. Seems like the "tanker" is the one who can't adapt (that's why you leave games), and looking at your W/L ratio, you're in no danger of getting stuck on the victory screen very often. So you and your alt from your 2 man corp can keep trolling, but when you post your usual dribble expect to be called out on it. You asked why you should stay in a match, the answer is because you started into in. Sorry your preferred or ONLY play style wont get you through every game kid.
I think I stopped reading BARAGAMOS' posts when I get to the name calling and snippy remarks. So, whatever point he's trying to make kind of just gets lost.

No it is a problem that is made up of those two points. They are equal and grouped. Yes, in the english language you can include an infinite number of points that together define a problem; Kind of like the Kardashians.
