I do not understand the profit player Dust Playrs. He always leaves a fight early in the game . maybe he gets a reward at the end of the match (warbarge point ...) |

To many problems with this idea.
People have actual lifes, they may need to leave the battle for a reason .
Being afk and getting removed
Leaving battle due to squad lead either someone got scottyed and everyone leaves or that someone leaves because its not there prefered game mode

This guy gets it. I have a 2 year old that comes first, even before gaming and dust. If she were to wake up screaming (I only play during nap time and when she goes to sleep at night) you bet your ass I will drop everything and make sure shes okay. Doesn't matter if its a pub, fw or PC, my daughter takes priority.
Why should I be punished for being a semidecent parent?

Blaming the judgement of the player who leaves and the fortune of the player with a d/c will not help you win matches.
Squadding and encouragment of squadding helps.
Learning damage profiles and teaching people to brick tank before they run the passive scan active-rep cloaky medium suit helps.
Staying away from FW unless you are ready to go full proto until the end of match freeze also helps.
Sniper fits and shotgun/ re scouts are hated because the are cheap suits and cheap playstyles but get kills, that sick satisfaction also helps.
It's hard to beat up hundreds of armor piercing bullets using only your face...

Surly it would make sense if the person left 3 battles in a row not on entry to the third. Also this what of someone was to get dc'd several times.
Anyway I'm sure people aren't leaving battles one after another trying to find the perfect one

I don't normally leave battle even after half my team drops but it does happen when I've had my fill of the bullsh!t. What am I going to get for that? Sh!t payout for putting in effort the entire match or punished for leaving because I'm tired of feeding the stompers. It's a lose-lose situation, but you know what I'll take any punishment you want to throw out for leaving battle if I'm tired of that bullsh!t. Take it far enough though and people will just quit playing. I don't blame them if the options are get stomped for a sh!tty reward or get punished for not feeding the trolls; who wants to waste their time on that bullsh!t?
Now, I get that at the start of the match a lot of people will drop out because there's actual competition or the squad they qsync'd with didn't get in on the same match on the same side; but the rest of us shouldn't be punished because of them. Hell, that's every bodies go to solution, punish'em, but that sh!t ain't never going to to work when staying is a worse punishment. So instead of trying to shove that stick further up our asses, how about giving us a carrot to chew on?
Trying to bring the slayer logi back.... unsuccessfully so far.

I can understand if your getting completely redlined you switching to a cheaper suit, but in fact that is just making it easier for them, yes you would be saving isk . But sometimes you need to fight back

When the enemy team has 120 clones left and yours only has 30 I think it's safe to say that winning that match is out of the question. Besides a cheaper suit can still kill people if you're careful.

In a situation where several of you are consistently trying, sure. But bringing out a better fit when you're 1 vs 8+ doesn't help you, no matter what you're wearing. We've all been in those matches where most of the blues quit/stay FAR back in the redline. I try to stick it out and using a cheap fit allows me to keep trying, even in my 800ISK shotgun throwaway just trying to take out one of them.
Or, I'm just trying to kill off my clones faster just so this ridiculous situation can end. I'd rather waste the clones trying something than fiddling my thumbs doing nothing at all.
I ran a match once where the enemy team was red lined. Every single one of them left except for 1 solo redberry mid match (over 8 mins left in a dom). He stuck it out to the very end, which I greatly respected. I hope his payout was impressive.

If you already earn all your sp... apply to next week...
With this.. many "pubstars" will have to resign to battle... and not just enter into a easy fight VS random-milita berries... and kill them with Oficial weapons.

Give a reason to stay and the mercs will stay-There exists actual risk and reward in DUST.
Punishing mercs will only lead to more ragequitting and flame threads.
When Mercenaries, upon solicited, receive a non favorable contract they walk away or get paid ridiculously (compared to their normal fees.)
We are free to leave -check. If we dont. we still get the same +/- 200k as everyone else - in every OTHER match. Win lose or draw we get paid the same.
No bonus for heroism.
No bonus for courageous actions or defiant solo stands.
No benefit or compensation to stick it out to the last nanite.
Edit: repaired what can only be described as horrid grammar.
It's hard to beat up hundreds of armor piercing bullets using only your face...

Of you put a penalty on people not wanting to get their asses raped constantly by proto stompers, the only players you'll have left are the proto stompers.
By implementing a punishment for leaving battle for any reason, you are basically saying "welcome to dust, if you don't like dying, getting raped, feeding my k/d and getting killed before you can even move, then your stuff will be taken away from you" , which will result in dust literally dying because the new players are treated like slaves.
