I agree that people 'biomassing' specifically for attention are stupid, but I think it's good for people to post a leaving message if they intend to actually do it, especially vets or long standing players. It sends a stronger message to CCP if someone who is moderately well known or well spoken leaves as other people may leave alongside them.

I think it's more to highlight the fact that since very little significant progression has been made and no hope on the horizon for any real change there is little else they can do but remind CCP that day by day they are losing long time players and fans of their game.
