It sends a stronger message to CCP if someone who is moderately well known or well spoken leaves as other people may leave alongside them. Picks up the mic, dusts it off, and sets it back on its stand It's happened once or twice someone couldn't pay the price, and I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals.

Assuming the "I quit" post contains useful feedback about why the player is leaving Dust, it's actually a good thing that devs can review to improve the game for other players. I completely agree that the "ACTIVE SCANRS R BRKEN I QUIT"-style threads are stupid though.
