Why was fog/mist added.
It wasn't asked for by the community (that I know of)
I don't mind it most of the time but when your redlined and its misty as f#ck, all it does it make it harder to snip
Anyone else feel the same?

I'd assume it was to add further variety to the maps.

Because something that CCP carried over from Eve / the pc world is if it looks pretty then it works properly.
Too bad someone accidentally shredded the booklet Sony sent over with the system requirements.

I don't mind most of the graphical effects. Some of them even look kinda nifty. **** that red ash/ember/whatever the hell it is that keeps making me think there's someone flanking me, though. Whenever I think I'm able to start ignoring the damn things I always just barely notice a large ash particle in my peripheral. Gets really annoying.
I don't mind the fog because I like the cover it potentially gives, but I always seem to run into the thick fog whenever I want to practice with a sniper rifle. It sucks not being able to guard an objective unless you're within 150 meters. But, then again, that's the very same reason I like it, so whatever.
It's happened once or twice someone couldn't pay the price, and I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals.
