Microsoft wants full control and access to eve online, which is why ccp said no to them.
Sony regrets signing a contract with ccp because it failed to make a profit, not to mention all the bugs and dead ends ccp put Sony through with every update over the years so if they would Sony would say no to porting anything from pc made by ccp, they might say yes to port from ps3 but that's still a long jump. Not to mention the horrible player to ccp relation that has gone on since closed beta.
See what I mean? By going 100% pc, they are effectively saying goodbye to consoles forever.

If they went "100% PC" they wouldn't have to care about consoles anymore  And Sony doesn't have a stake in Dust's profitability. They get a percentage of each PSN transaction whether Dust is making CCP money or not so "Sony regrets" is a bunch of bull. Anyway, interpret what you want. This game isn't getting ported to either platform. See: complete silence on CCP's part.

If it is "all over the net" then how about a link? And CCP went with PC/PS4 for Eve: Valkyrie. Doesn't seem like a sign of regret on Sony's part.
Valkyrie is not an fps, it's a space flight simulator, completely different.
But I will give you one thing, there is some hope for dust surviving on the ps4. I do hope more than anything that my 4 years of building up void echo will not go to waste

This. Unfortunately the original development team were the ones who screwed up dust so badly that by the time rattati took control, it was hanging on a hair line for dear life, if rattati didn't come in when he did, dust wouldn't be online right now, I only wish he was in charge in the beginning. If he was, dust would be mildly successful and there wouldn't be any questions on where it was going

I spent $400 once for my ps3 5 years ago. I can't afford to pay $600 for a gaming pc and spend more $$ keeping it updated...
Plus it is my firm belief that FPSs belong on console only

If you count paying for games as spending money on consoles then that's true. I spent $400 when I bought it, then I spend $98 last year to get it fixed, total over 5 years I have only spend $498 on my ps3 whereas if I get a pc, I would continuously spend money just to keep the pc itself updated

If you're already subscribed for antivirus software for a laptop or something, then the chances are it can be installed on multiple devices anyway. If you want to be a normal human being when it comes to an OS on PC then you should use windows 7 (windows 8 is shite for games and idk about windows 10) which is a one time payment and comes with FREE updates. If you buy hardware from the right place then it will come with a few years warranty, so replacements aren't a problem if something were to go wrong. I use scan.co.uk and aria.co.uk. They have relatively low prices on hardware with nice long warranties and instant replacements if something were to go wrong when installing the hardware. Software updates happen automatically, whether it's to the OS or another program. If you're complaining about software updates in general then you shouldn't link it to PCs specifically, even the ps3's OS has updates regularly. Please also bare in mind that the controller for consoles is so terrible for the job of playing a shooter 9/10 games give you aim assist. Using aim assist is like using stabilisers as a kid, only console users don't seem to grow out of them.
Console controls are far easier and more organized for me than keyboards. Not to mention its easier to hack pc

I don't expect you to like me, i just expect you to accept that consoles aren't where this game should be. No, your not a troll, a troll provides intelligent remarks but at the same time makes people laugh a little, you are doing neither I'm afraid you overestimate the intelligence and sense of humour of most trolls.
At least dust 514 trolls. On other games the average troll IQ is at least 80, here its at best 50
