What was announced was DUST514 was being moved to PC. At that current time, the DUST player base was probably 65/35 Console to PC players. Yes, we told CCP from the beginning that DUST514 is not a console game, they should go ahead and move it to PC back in Beta. They refused to or already had too much time invested and marched on. Which therefore established the console player majority player base.

CCP turned their back on the core playerbase that suffered through 3 years of torment. Doing so, resulted in lighting a flame feel of betrayal.

If CCP had announced Legion to be coming to PC and PS4, there wouldn't be any rioting or flames; however, CCP didn't and I agree with the hatred movement from the players against CCP, at that time.

Define "continuously" because I upgrade my PC only when I am forced to due to hardware failure or the minimum system requirements of a must-have game make me... and that is highly infrequent.

Yes, if you have more money than sense you can upgrade a PC every month and spend thousands on doing so. It is the norm? NO. Not in the slightest.

Anti-virus software? That's free. OS updates happen when you want them. People still have machines that run Windows 7. And as for "repairs/replacements" well that is pretty funny considering that PC components have individual warranties.

If a part on my PC breaks I remove it, ship it to the manufacturer for repair/replacement, I will pop in an old component in the meantime and keep on playing. PS3 breaks? This is a pretty tired argument though. I was just offering a suggestion that would, in the long run, open up a world of other games to you.

Antivirus doesn't need to be paid for, free antivirus software does the job perfectly fine (such as AVG). If you're already subscribed for antivirus software for a laptop or something, then the chances are it can be installed on multiple devices anyway.

If you want to be a normal human being when it comes to an OS on PC then you should use windows 7 (windows 8 is shite for games and idk about windows 10) which is a one time payment and comes with FREE updates.

If you buy hardware from the right place then it will come with a few years warranty, so replacements aren't a problem if something were to go wrong. I use scan.co.uk and aria.co.uk. They have relatively low prices on hardware with nice long warranties and instant replacements if something were to go wrong when installing the hardware.

Software updates happen automatically, whether it's to the OS or another program. If you're complaining about software updates in general then you shouldn't link it to PCs specifically, even the ps3's OS has updates regularly.

Please extrapolate why you believe FPS`s should only be on consoles.

Baring in mind all of the best and early online FPS games that I can think of were on PC (Quake, Unreal Tourney etc..)

Please also bare in mind that the controller for consoles is so terrible for the job of playing a shooter 9/10 games give you aim assist. Using aim assist is like using stabilisers as a kid, only console users don't seem to grow out of them.

Personally I find keyboards easier to use than controllers. Yes there are more buttons but it only takes a few minutes to find where everything is.
