Abstract Requiem
Abstract Requiem is intended to be a small, close-knit corporation in which close friends can play together without concerning themselves with the burdens associated with larger, less personalised corps. Our corpmates enjoy a light-hearted, casual relationship with each other and having fun together is paramount, though rest assured this does not come at the cost of victory and competitiveness.
Abstract Requiem cannot be described as a tryhard corp. In fact, little brings us more pleasure than stopping the larger corps dead in their tracks. We are proof that having a vulgar, negative mentality is not necessary to be competitive, and that it is in fact possible to both have fun and be genuinely competitive.
We are unlike any corp that precedes us. We are unique. We are a breath of fresh air in a dreary, stagnant wasteland.
All applications are considered on an individual basis, and whilst a certain standard of skill is expected, a good personality is essential. In these early days of the corp, the most successful applicants are the ones whom I am already familiar with, though having no prior experience with me will not be a barrier to entry; your application will merely take longer to process as I evaluate you. Possession of a microphone is not mandatory.
We currently have no serious PC ambitions, though this is subject to change, and CP will be spent on informal raids.
Our tax rate is 0%.
Our public channel is Abstract Requiem and is open for anyone to join.
Besides, how could anyone resist a corp with the ticker SOMLG?

Sorry, but there is zero chance of Abstract Requiem merging with any corp, simply because of SOMLG's aims; we are a corp of tight-knit friends, each of whom I have extensively screened. Merging with another corp would compromise the integrity of Abstract Requiem.

I did consider applying to SOMLG but my activity level is so low I figured it would be unsatisfying for all concerned. I came into this game knowing no one. Got recruited into a small corp intent on growing into PC. Became friends with a few as we went along. But it all fell apart after FF2014. Some dispersed and the rest left the game. I guess I'm still a bit bitter about it. It's difficult to find those enduring groups if the group wasn't already established at the outset.
I believe many of you had dispersed, hadn't you? Then you all came back when your friend beeswax suddenly died.

GoD were like a huge family, even though I wasn't apart of it I could tell by their teamwork in the battlefield... Even though they dispersed they still stayed in contact with each other from what I've heard...
