It never has. What you are looking at is what happens in pubs if matchmaker is removed.

Because Faction warfare operates on the previous matchmaking logic.

Matchmaking works great as I have said many times before. If you want to play savior and talk about problems why not try thinking about why people are so systemically leaving battles causing the lopsided bullshit. Protos are put against protos but tend to abandon the fight when they know they are actually going to have to risk something leaving behind only the low level filler against the team that was created to be against a proto team.

If you're going to complain that this is constantly happening in pubs, then start showing your daily rotation of public contract rosters. If you cannot do that much, then your objectivity and honesty is suspect.

If proto players are guaranteed to lose money thanks to getting paid pennies per MLT suit the risk of losing a pro suit far out weighs the reward.

In a keep what you kill system pulling out a proto suit is just the same as putting a giant bounty on yourself. Newbies will be fighting over who can get the lucky kill shot in to make a boat load of cash. This also drives team work which is something difficult to find among randoms.

Oh and I am not sure if you have checked out SP gain lately but a newbie can have a full proto suit in under 2 weeks with a bit of boosting. They don't run it and compete against proto because they can not afford to. With KWYK running proto versus proto will result in a profit as long as you display more skill than your opponent.

deezy is talking about a new system, not the current system. Protostompers will be less inclined to go proto if they don't receive as large a reward for it and they are basically marking themselves as shiny targets for doing so. Likewise it would be great to kill a proto using a lower tier suit because you would get paid out the ass for it. Are you even reading anything anymore or are you just jumping to defending yourself right away?

You will see them constantly in FW.

Don't want to play against 8's and 16's don't play FW.

Finally , someone else talking about a REAL ISSUE of the game that's ACTUALLY hurting it's growth and yes this is a issue and it's having and HAS HAD a negative effect in the games growth , I mean .. who want's to stick around and get the preverbal game stick shoved up their @$$e$ by a bunch of crappy players that can't perform without 4 others backing them all with PRO gear .

I was watching some old vids yesterday and one came across about King Thunder Bolt and Heracles Porsche when Porsche was talking about how Thunder Bolt was trying to " out " him and while he was talking in his PRO Amarr Sentinel mauling random players in mostly basic gear for the most part , with some people in better gear sprinkled about ... I started to think like I always do in this case , " Why do these You Tubers always use PRO gear when making vids ? " , how does that promote the game when it's own You Tubers ( with the exception of DAAAA BEAST ) promote PRO stomping and they always drop Q's in their vids ?

I know that most of you like HP and the rest but that just perplexes me when I see this vid after vid , how can anyone wonder why this game hasn't grown with it's own promoters just perpetuating one of it's main problems besides the poor performance of the game ?

No one calls them out on this and most just pat these stat padding players on the back and say , " Job well done . " .. this forum is the poison that's ruining the game because most can't see anything besides what's right in front of them and wont acknowledge anything that's not on some spreadsheet .

This doesn't seem like a problem to most because they would just answer with their flawed quotes like , " Welcome to New Eden . " and such but you know what , New Eden is barren because of Jack A's like these people promoting PRO stomping and the rest of the community that just sits in silence about this issue .

How has that helped to create a desire to play Dust 514 and once it has , to keep said new players once they have tried it .?. and has any of them stated many of the flaws of the game in an effort to push CCP to actually clean up the game more then they have pushed their own agenda about what they " want " and " need " from CCP or some other dramatic episode ?

Too much of the buddy system is killing this game from the You Tubers to the CPM , some talk about it and these same have their threads derailed by the trolls that are part of that same system or get their threads locked by CCP for claims of ranting but you know what .?. playing the same game for two plus years and the fact that other games come out ( like Defiance ) that run 100 times better then Dust has in it's existence while the community calls for a port of the game , like a port would solve the problems or like the game it's self isn't the problem , while new Dev's create games on the same PS3 with zero issues compared to Dust 514 , this community is so much part of the problem with their blindness towards addressing some of the REAL ISSUES that plague the game , it's all the more reason to rant if YOU actually care about the game .

Instead of just leaving it in the mess that it's in without a single word spoken .

It's good to see someone with a little weight FINALLY calling out some of the crap that's going on in-game , now lets see what good that will do while the majority of the community continues to walk around in their perpetual stooper about the REAL ISSUES .

I don't have a problem with wearing anything because you have earned it but to keep destroying the game from the inside by dropping Q's in PRO against random players for the most part in MLT and lesser gear , is just not helping the growth of the game and if you people are just that competitive then why do you need help to stomp lesser players and why not just switch to lesser gear when playing lesser opponents .?. wouldn't that be much more of a challenge .?. but I forgot ... " My Friends .." and such reasons that these people give while a F2P game with more then 30 mil units sold can't even keep 5000 players and the game has EVE as well , that should be promoting this game instead of trying to kill it like most ( PC Master Race ) who play EVE do .

I guess I'm just making this stuff up for the 2 or more years of this game's existence .
