One of the most mysterious and awesome things that I feel are in this game's lore are the Jove. I was really bummed out when I learned that they are now an extinct race. "But what if we were wrong? What if they were just watching us from the shadows waiting to hunt us all down?"
*epic music in the background with a flashy title sequence*
So if we were to have a Jove based event (it's a long shot) what I feel would be really epic and breath taking is if you were playing a match like normal 16 v 16 and in the middle of nowhere, the sky gets dark and as you look up, you see this giant carrier. And you guessed it: out of those carriers would jump out Jovian troops of all kinds, heavies, logis, scouts, and etc. (they would all be NPC). Then, it would pretty much become a free-for-all between the three sides. Depending on how well you did in battle, you would be rewarded Jovian gear. Also, all your daily missions would be replaced with super difficult tasks which reward you with Jovian event exclusive gear BPOs. These missions would last for about a month. I know that this is a crazy idea and I don't actually expect this to happen (so no need to rage and whine) but just picture how cool it would be. Just picture it before reality comes along and fucks you anal deep.
Now let's just say that ccp were to make an event like this, what do you guys think of it?

Either that or there could be 'Rogue Clones' anyone who has read the Templar One novel will know the first clones were created using implants stolen from cryo Jove/Sleeper bodies and some of the first Templars go a bit mental. A being called The Other was kinda haunting/stalking the Jove/Sleeper population in their AI consciousness (Basically think of when Agent Smith takes over the Matrix) thats probs a bit too late though as the joint Mordu, Caldari and Gallente forces successfully reverse engineered the implants that are used in the current clones.
Ya or just pretty much anything mysterious. I feel this game needs some mystery in it.

Hey that's a great idea actually. What I was thinking about was more under the lines of "defeat the swarm" then after the swarm was defeated, the ship retreats. At the end of this event, Jove would then become a playable race.

If there was something based around the Jove it would likely not work by way of them dropping in troops due to the fact that they depend more on advanced technology for spying and for delivering very powerful, precise blows meant to completely shut down any enemy advances. There is also no reference to them having taken up cloning technology instead opting for genetic modifications which is what ultimately lead to the Jovian Disease leaving them with frail, weak bodies which would not be suited for direct combat at all.
Ah well your no fun. Besides maybe the Jove thought of some way around their frail body structure over the years?
