first, I do not expect any official response, as it never seems to happen when I post. Now, on to my questions:
1. Is there a way to add the ability to change the control configuration? Every FPS game I have ever played has had crouch as Circle, not Triangle, like in this game, but it cannot be changed. Also, though I don't play this way, I know people who prefer to use L2 to aim and R2 to fire, but this is not an option here, it seems.
2. Why is there no voice chat in the game? Is this a feature that will come later, or is it just not going to be in there?
3. Is there going to be any kind of tutorial or explanation of things? For example, I had no idea that a 1 by my gun meant it was the only one I had and once I died it was gone. That means you have to keep buying guns to refill your loadouts, but I have no idea how to earn IRK to buy more.
4. I understand this is a closed beta, but will there be more people added soon? Right now, I can't get a match because I show only about 300 players total, and barely any in Ambush (which is the mode I wanted to play). 216 of those 300 are in Skirmish, so I am forced to play that mode only.
5. It seems to take way too many bullets to kill someone. With the assault rifle, it takes more than a full clip to kill someone. with the fact that the assault rifle has such terrible accuracy (this thing jumps around like I am shooting from a crashing airship, not steady ground. Please tweak the accuracy
That is all I can think of at the moment, but I will add more into this thread if I think of them. |

press start, go to system, select options. there is a voice chat thing you can turn on or off

did you just skip the several pages of text explanation when you first started the game? you get a page when you first visit the market, the fitting window, the skills window, ect.
DON'T SKIP THOSE, THEY'RE THERE FOR A REASON

the 10,000 beta keys from the ps home promotion recently ran dry, and the total number of keys redeemed must be three times that already
nobody is really sure why the active community is so small compared to the redeemed keys

bad hit detection and lag, that will be fixed next patch (june 29th) |

How do you know all of this?
Also, as to the tutorial pages you mentioned, I did read those, but the text for me was so blurry I could barely read them. They did not, that I could see, answer the questions I asked here. If it did, it was probably in one of the several unreadable sections. And, before you ask, it was not my TV. I have a brand new HDTV and text for every other game looks perfect. |

There was an entire section about BPOs (blueprint originals) and BPCs (blueprint copies). Originals have a blue background and can be used an infinite number of times, while copies are used up whenever you die. If you run out of copies, that whole fit is unusable.
Also, you earn ISK by playing matches. At the end of the match a screen comes up that tells you how much ISK and skill points you earned in the match, and what your totals are. Skill points also accrue slowly over time, even if you're not playing, but ISK does not. |

Actually, this is fairly normal. Your active player base is usually only going to be about 10-20% of your total player base at any given time. You also have to consider that some people may not have downloaded the client yet, or are waiting for the next patch to come out, or, most likely, may have tried the beta and got impatient with the fact that it's still in development and not finished yet and thus quit.

There is also both an instruction manual (found via the "Options" tab), and you can also reset the in-game tutorials (also via the "Options" tab) so that you can read through them again. |
