Let me start by saying I know this is early beta and I dont know what is going to be added, changed or fixed. However I have a suggestion that me and my friends have been throwing around.
The private quarters is awesome ( i enjoyed it in EVE as well ) I think it would be cool to expand on that idea and allow some level of customization. Maybe moving furniture, giving/displaying trophies, wallpaper, ect. This could also give CCP another micro-transaction revenue source.
So why not take this a step further, being on a console, the private quarters could serve as a squad/party/group room for joining battles. Everyone can meet in the squad/party/group leaders quarters.
What do you all think?
oh and one last thing... that Draft saving popping up every 5 seconds in annoying. |

Not bad idea, but meeting quarters should be just for Corps (after buying special room), or something maybe like place in station ( because I believe that players will be on specific station in specific solar system, where you will can meet other players, also EVE players, and that will be very good use of "Activate station door button" in EVE :D
I realized that in Dust you have 2 pair of doors in your quarters...Maybe it's just taken from EVE and hangar doors are blocked....but....doors man ...something should be on the other side of them |

Constructive criticism is constructive.
To the OP, there will be personal spaces, complete with trophy rooms.
I agree that there should be places to meet before battles but I think that they will be your Corp War Barge, and you will be able to have your own personal room on the war barge as well. They talked about it at fanfest 18 months ago.
I think Playstation also wants to make a DUST area on playstation home where we all make our own spaces the way it is on PS home, but IMO, that would need some serious work since PS home caters to the most casual gamers and DUST will cater to the most hard core. |
