CCP really dropped the ball on Dust this weekend, that was the second time in a fairly short period where players were prevented from entering the game.

I really feel for those who paid real money for the active boosters, and who may have a relatively narrow window of opportunity to play, and 9+ hours of downtime is far from acceptable.

I can understand that there aren't a full team available 24/7, but none of the few that were in the office even bothered to post even a single note on the forums?
Not one?

Are Dust and its players really THAT insignificant to CCP that we don't even get a single note, something that should take no more than a few minutes to post. Even if it says what CCP really feels about us? ("It's a weekend, tough luck suckers")

And now that it's a few days later, and still no one at CCP have even bothered to post anything here about it?

It's not the game that drives people away. It's CCP!

We can always speculate:
1. If they did tell you what happend they might feel inclined to shoot you
2. The hamsters are overworked and under fed, many have arthritic hips
3. Somebody clicked agree on that annoying Windows 10 box instead of cancel
4. Those in charge of the servers have many of the same off shift habits as the players---weed, booze and Pilates
5. Game testing the newest hotfix---somebody shot Rattai in the face with a PLC at close range and then all hell broke loose
6. Lets blame it on some large Corp....how about Negative Feedback or the Exiles or the Erectiles!
7. Victor moved more than one billion ISK to an alt
8. GJR made good on his promise and entered the code:Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start.
9. Outgoing CPM1 logged out and forgot to let CPM2 know what the password was---oops!
10. Somebody posted another thread complaining about matchmaking or server issues----and CCP pulled the car over....message received!
