First off id like thank ratatti for delivering on other peoples promises. You're a good guy. I have also noticed some of the preliminary steps taken earlier in dusts market. Its very clever, if it was intentional.
To everyone else...... just chill. The most problems i have had with trading are from impatient people. Take your time and be thorough. Get all your isk and goods.
Scamming is real. Pay attention to what you and others are doing. Watch for subtle tricks. The lower case l and capital i look alike. Lots of imposters lately. I suggest taking contact info from trusted traders. People can fake your name but they cant alter anyones contact list. Or look. Eyesight is OP.
Trust is another issue. If you dont trust someone you shouldnt be giving them gear or money. I personally choose to recieve goods and isk first. It costs me some business but everyone knows i dont get scammed. There are good people out there that do more than their part to make sure everyone has a safe place to trade. It pays to do research. If you dont know many people pm me. I can pass on some of the contacts ive made. Its rough in the lower trading chats, be cautious, not afraid.
One more thing some of us are dealing with multiple people simultaneously. Be patient, there are plenty of reasons you dont get your stuff immediately. I personally take care of my daily customers first, then return customers, then any other left over business.
There's billions of isk just laying around in your assets. By any means you can come help us feul the market. If you take interest in or have aptitude for trading im sure I'll encounter you at some point. Be honest and thorough, i invest in smaller businesses. There is plenty of others that offer assistance too.
Never be afraid to ask for help. The worst anyone can is no.

Sending first is a risk, if you trade with people you know the risk is minimal.
Doubted your wallet? Your balance? No its not that odd.
Scotty doesnt interfere with trades. I havent seen it yet. Ive done thousands.
There racial fanatics. There are also places you can dump all your gear for isk.
Its very dirty but start at the black market. Just watch people for the first day or so. Guys doing business there have tons of contacts, good and bad. I can give you an invite to alphas they let anyone in nowdays.

The system is alright. Are you just mad that you werent here to debate or do you have real problems with how it works?
Thats not true about people not being able to get a fair trade. Some people use middle men. Both parties send to a mutually trusted person. That person distributes the goods and isk.

Its a new eden style trade system, so in that respect it works... but by all other gaming standards its a shite system.
I was pretty ruthless when trading MTG. I havent played any games with an assets system such as dust.
