I, like most of the other players are growing increasingly frustrated with Dust514. It seems that we are constantly having issues with servers, lag and lack of information regarding the direction of the game.
I have been playing Dust514 for well over two years. I can state with high level of confidence that we are at the lowest point of player satisfaction in the history of this game. Now, that being said, I will continue to play until it is no longer playable. This is the only game I play. However, I'm extremely concerned that we will continue to have players leave the game and never return because of the issues stated above. The player base is the future of this game. Without it, there will be no more Dust514.
Most of us believe you are working hard to fix these issues. Unfortunately, we feel we are left out in the cold due to lack of information in regards to current and developmental issues. The longer we are left wondering what the future holds, the more players will move on to other games. Thus, guaranteeing a collapse of the player base and the shuttering of the game we love.
I beg you to keep us more up to date on what is going on for both the short term and long term. It will allow us to not only provide critical input, but also stabalize the player base so we can begin to grow the game.

Not to excuse CCP, but it has been less than a month since Rat was posting extremely regularly. Your use of second-person pronouns is both ineffective and frankly condescending. You speak for yourself. There are a few characters on the forums with a bunch of "we feel X" type posts- just stop.

As I look down the message board, I don't really see anything but complaints and post that directly express frustration with the current status of the game. These issues have been ongoing long before Rattati went on vacation. It just so happens that they have reached a peak during his time away.
You obviously you are fine with the current state of affairs. That's your opinion and you are most definitely entitled to it.

You are missing the point. I never said I didn't like the game. I love the game!
The point is by keeping players apprised of:
(1) Where this game is going (2) Current performance issues and their related fixes
These can have a big impact on player satisfaction which should lead to higher player retention and participation.

I think the point we were most dissatisfied was after Legion was announced.
I would argue that people are the most satisfied with game mechanics than at any other time. The issue is a shrinking playerbase and connection issues which contribute to each other.
Though, July was probably the most fun I ever had playing Dust 514 since Chromosome. I even decided to finally spend money on this game.
That said, only a month later I can't get into any matches with decent connections and I can't get into many matches in general. I'm disgruntled that we have a shrinking playerbase and that the servers seem to be out of it constantly. Though, in the long term I'm bitter that CCP cut most assets from this game, and that their hasn't been an iteration of Dust 514 scheduled for the PS4.

Many of the bugs have been removed. A great portion of ancient glitches and bugs have been specifically removed by Rattati and his team.
It's just that at this point maintaing the player base is the number one concern. This game isn't growing as fast as its shrinking. And in the populace it's increasing in there aren't people willing to spend money. The people spending money are on P.C, next gen and the rest are simply a very loyal minority.
Dust can't afford to have server breaking issues now. Though, it also doesn't make sense to tell people to suck it up. That line works in EVE because that game is growing at a consistent rate so players willing to spend money increase in population. Dust reached it's critical mass of content long ago. If there are paying players that leave there aren't really people to replace them anymore.

Everybody's entitled to their opinion, and to expressing their opinion within the forum rules (no matter how exaggerated and alarmist it may be). The holier-than-thou "We are X" phrasing, though? I mean you're entitled to it, but I'll virtually guarantee it cuts little ice with the devs and certainly sets you up at the outset for sub-optimal thread quality.
It's hardly worth my time to sit here and say that whatever tripe you've cooked isn't broadly representative of anybody's except your opinion because that's obvious to anyone with two brain cells to rub together. Furthermore, your audience here on the forums constitutes both developers and players. Your original post is written in a way that implies you're directing the comment exclusively to developers. The kind of response I'm now delivering is a consequence of that oversight.

I don't know about the bugs fixes , it seems like they fix them only for them to return in the next patch release and once they return they stay unattended and unchecked , check out Apocalyptic Destroyer's thread of bugs and I believe that those issues for the most part still stand true .
Patch release they should do bugs sweeps but that's just my opinion .
People always flood the forums after patch releases and many of the issues stem from old problems .

The kind of response I'm now delivering is a consequence of that oversight. In my eyes you guys are bickering over nothing . If you want the same thing and that's the games improvement in performance and numbers , then what's to disagree about .?. how one approaches that goal by said method ? That's just being nit picky and that's just uncalled for .
Leither you say that the OP doesn't speak for you and that's fine but there are statements that he has made that can not be refuted , now I believe that we should stop this in house squabbling and come to a collective and begin to fix what's broken and stop these petty issues amongst ourselves .
If both of you want the same thing and that's a healthy and thriving game that's Dust 514 , then what's to disagree about ?
I believe that WE ALL WANT THAT , now am I wrong for making such a blanket statement as such .?. I just did the same thing that you accused that man of , now you might not agree with his methods but if his intent is in the right place , what's the issue and why go back and forth ?
Teamwork is really important - said the Tyrannosarus Rex from Kung Fury .

I'd recommend anyone who is addicted to take a holiday; break the daily treadmill, try other games. Maybe you'll come back maybe you wont, but you'll likely appreciate the time off and be able to recharge your gaming batteries.

I wouldn't say I'm disgruntled or even fed up with the game. Its been glitchy and wonky from day one and the day we came out of open beta and saw basically the same issues I figured more or less it would always be a wonky game.
CCP, if you really want this game to be successful and thrive I say you shut it down in its current state take how ever long it takes to make it what WE all wanted it to be and what You want it to be. Because the game I'm playing now isn't the game I envisioned when I was playing in beta. Well for the most part it is but something's in this game just don't belong but I'll leave that out of this post. I will say this though again. Shut it down, invest your time into it, build up our anticipation and not only us but the players from the past would also come back. Imagine the game with out all the problems and balanced issues. I assure you if you invested the time into this game our wallets would be empty like they were when this game first started. Not to say that you aren't currently investing time. But just rebuilding this from the ground up is the only way I see it surviving. Being on PC or PS4.

We're currently trying to do something similar, not necessarily for the entirety for the PCU, but as a drive to encourage players to hop on and fight towards a common goal.
I would have to say that my satisfaction and experience with the gameplay that Dust 514 offers has been diminishing. One of the great things that Dust has going for it is the social activities and interactions that the players can partake in. This feature is one of the main reasons that I have stayed playing Dust since the open beta.
