I use at least one on my Gallente Assault. Only Ferroscale is just asking to be killed in a 20th of a second by a stray HMG burst.

That double strafe penalty is a killer.
Reactive plates are the heaviest plates I'm willing to use.

I'm all Gallente so my heavies low slots are ferroscale, rep, and Kincat, mediums are 2 ferro, 2 reps, and Kincat, and light is Kincat, ferro, rep, and damp

Only on my Amarr sentinel, he's not light on his feet.
I sometimes put one on my logi.
Never on an assault, except for the militia one on my abomination of a dragonfly assault, and only because militia shield regulators are awful. |

Strange scout fit. You aren't damped enough. If you are going to run gal scout you might as well get under everyone's scans. 2 damps, 1 kincat, 1 reactive

If you can see the potential for them, of course I use them. That's why I bought the Militia Variant BPO.
Same output of Armor, just barely noticeable PG/CPU increase.

I use 2 plates and 2 reps on my MinLogi fits. As far as I can remember thats the only suit I use them on.
GalAssault with 3 ferroscale and 2 reps not only is perfect for roleplaying but is actually way better than stacking health if your solo. Combine with a burst AR, and you can melt just about anyone before they can kill you, and the 2 reps mean there's way less downtime until you're ready for the next engagement.
