Knifing is a cheap solo tactic? I don't get angry when knifed because I understand the skill and skill points required to be successful. It is also dangerous and rarely works.

Simple answer, get gud, its not that hard to kill them just be aware.

I can take getting knifed because I do it sometimes but what I hate is the rail bug , that's some straight bullish . I'm taking all my rails off my fits and using AR's instead , at least if I die I know why and not because of some stupid bug that's been around for over a year now .

Just doesn't make since and I can't understand why people complain about RR's , over half the time they don't work .

Also to make one thing clear. I'm not talking about some who will go in not cloaked and partial damps. Because THAT takes skill. Being visible and having the skills to move and groove and kill 3 4 guys in a row IS skill.

listen to the sound effects and actually look around when you are moving, when hacking if the scout gets in close while cloaked they will make a sound and you have at least 2 seconds to react before they can do anything unless they are using myos which have no delay

a fully damped scout at best can only have about 300 hp more or less any weapon does more damge in less then a second meaning the scout should die in the transition from decloak to using their weapon

the highest damp a scout can get even with the proto cloak and full damp is about 10db taking into account everything even being an officer gk.0 scout which has an extra low slot, the inner ring of a cal scout is about 9m more or less depending on how you fit it but with full precision it can pick up everything in the inner ring meaning a scout even cloaked cannot come close enough without you knowing they are there

saying that it takes no skill or that there isn't any counter play makes you sound like a scrub, this game isn't just about gun game it takes more then that to win even if you play ambush, the cheapest tactic I know of in pubs especially is the active scanners which can be used to pick up even many damped scouts to the point where if they want to stay hidden they have to use a proto cloak and fully damp making them so weak in terms of eHP that they can get easily killed by even a thukker contact nade and in most cases a BP will OHK them as well as any other weapon taking less then a second to finish them off and a single charged shot from and ScR will destroy them even faster, splash damge from a plc is enough to take them down

there are so many things a scout has to keep track of and a single player can easily take out a group of these if they just pay attention which in most cases they do not

the easier way to counter a scout is to use awareness that is one of the best skills to have in this game and can separate the scrubs and try hards from the skilled players that may or may not have the best gun game but gun game doesn't matter much when everyone has magic bullets in this game so anyone saying they have gun game that use AA are just lying to themselves
