With respect, you're requesting that my fellow soldiers offer their bodies for 'scientific' research without a proper briefing on what sort of experiments they will be participating in? Or even offering a concrete form of payment or compensation for their services?
I'd rather live a thousand years living in muted psychosis than offer myself to your corporation until you can provide more information.

A fair criticism, and one I'm happy to provide some more information on.
While I can't get into the specifics of the research, I am allowed to part with the general aim of the study, which is to analyze an intact brain and body with standard Clone Soldier Implants in hopes of diagnosing and possibly offering up solutions to the reported incidents of psychosis that have plagued many of both generations of clone soldiers.
My employer wishs to provide something of worth to the scientific community that will hopefully lead to better treatment and possible prevention of such future issues. However, the cause of such issues must first be identified. |

I would have to agree with the sentimwnt of Galm. Would you be able to disclose or declassify some more information? When the 1st generation clones were found to be.... defective.... they were all but hunted down and destroyed. What's to say your research doesn't lead to a 3rd generation clone, causing us to be hunted? That can't happen because I still have unfinished business....

I think reassurance of some kind that our consciousness will not be accidentally terminated, or this research will indeed be used to help us. Those are my biggest concerns.

An active clone is not required for the study, merely an unused combat clone which will be properly biomassed after the study, so there is no danger of terminating anyone's consciousness. If you would like, I have been authorized to offer a supervisory role to anyone who would wish to act as a watchdog during the procedure to ensure the validity of what we are doing. A non-disclosure contract would have to be signed, you understand, for the duration of the project until the time comes for release.
Our main concern is for public safety and that of those using the combat clones. Many reports of acquired aggression and mental instability have cropped up among first and even second generation clones. This type of psychosis appears more frequent among Clone Soldiers, many of which have no medical history of mental illness. It is our belief that the still relatively new implant techniques used by the Empires is being done so at the expense of the men and women in arms and that they are knowingly putting people at risk fpr military edge. |

Payment is negotiable. So far both volunteers have not requested compensation. I'm here for ISK, it's what we all need.
No, I did not. I didn't notice it until a few months after receiving my implant. No, it does not, which leads me to believe it is a defect in how our combat clones are created.

Thr base offer is One Million ISK per volunteer. Considering how relatively cheap our clones are to grow and the bulk of cost comes in replacing dropouts and fittings we believe this offer to be more than fair for qualifying clones. Assuming Mr. Raven Wing agrees to take part we still would like two more qualified participants.
Again;
As it stands, we have one control volunteer with no symptoms and one exhibiting split personality disorder which we believe linked to the implants. Again, we would like two more volunteers; three if Mr. Raven Wing declines to participate. |

Excellent news! A staff rep from Sengokuvaa should contact your soon with a contract to sign. Expect payment within a standard week. All I need now is your birth name and an updated k/d ratio.
We need TWO more subjects suffering from the listed symptoms! I've also been informed three more unaffected clones would also be preferable to act as a control group. |

::UPDATE::
We are currently in negotiations to bring aboard noted Li-Dai Scientist and Neurologist Dr. Scherezad to the project. Dr. Scherezad has most recently been involved in a number of projects including the analyzation and identification of the remains of recently deceased Dr. Hilen Tukoss.
We are still accepting volunteers exibiting signs of psychosis that developed after the transition to clone soldier. We are also looking for a neutral observor and possible control volunteers. |

Mr. Bullet, your response is understandable but I implore you to take a moment and reconsider.
No one is making anyone do anything. Everyone currently participating is either being paid or doing so out of want to improve the quality of life of themselves and their fellow soldiers, and honestly, we are already test subjects. Combat Clones use a technology less than a decade old based off an alien tech that we know very little about. First Generations have all but been whipped out because they eventually went insane, and the bits in our heads were hastily reverse engineered to provide the empires a way to learn from our failures and success on the field.
We are a living test subject that is constantly used again and again and second generations are still experiencing bouts of psychosis. Why does this happen? My employers believe it to be a design flaw, one that can hopefully be corrected and if not at least understood so that we can begin to formulate a treatment or a response so that we dont all end up dead or crazy.
Respectfully sir, please reconsider, and if you decide not then we can part our ways and hopefully never meet again if you so wish. what were doing is trying to do some real good, no, to so something great. It takes brave men and women like yourself and those who have volunteered to blaze the trail and make way for the advancement of human kind. |

F*ck that sh*t. You want to know what the flaw is? The flaw is that we are still human. We still feel, we still love and we still feel pain.
I have fought a thousand battles and slaughtered tens of thousands and met my end a thousand times. I remember every life I took and, though they are immortal, it haunts me.
The bloody and gore filled trail of destruction that we leave in our wake takes a toll on us, mentally. Most will deny it, but late at night, while we rest safely in our beds, the reality of our crimes begins to bare down on us and it crushes our soul. That is your reason for psychosis, that is your flaw. Our humanity.
Now f*ck off and leave me alone.

I see this life as a fleeting force, and our body as it's miserable container. I care now when I kill, mortal or clone, for in my belief, I am simply sending them on early to brave the next live, to be returned to this land to live again.
The only exception is when the Black Eagles betrayed me. That was my family, I shall have my revenge, and I am everlasting.

You are no more immortal than your link to a CRU, and that link has a very real and very finite range.

We are proud to announce that the initial lineup of research associates has been cleared for announcement and the following individuals have been brought on-board to provide their expertise on the matter at hand.
* Dr. Scherezad: Dr. Scherezad is a research associate with Lai Dai Research Biomedical and Cybernetic, in the algorithm research department. She holds a Doctorate of Mathematics (Information Science) from Todaki SAK, and frequently work with the neurobio department and holds a third-rank nursing license with Lai Dai.
* Andreus Ixiris: Mr. Ixiris is a spatial physicist with a deep understanding of quantum dynamics, holding a doctorate in entanglement phenomena at low-energy states.
* Lyn Farel: Ms. Farel holds a degree in neural and infomorph networking with a specialization in VR.
* Evi Polevia: Ms. Polevia is an expert Infomorph Neurology and the Psychological impact of concurrent Infomorph instances.
* Sinjin Mokk: Mr. Mokk is skilled Infomorph Psychology, but excel in the arts of neural cybernetics, particularly in the use of Transcranial Microcontrollers (TCMCs).
* Thal Vadam: Mr. Vadam has agreed to be a neutral observer in the process. His job will be to ensure the continued ethical considerations of the project.
Please join me in welcoming them aboard to the project! Remember, we are still accepting volunteers, please feel free to step forward or mail Simon Louvaki. We are also looking for a talented surgeon to join the team! |

An interesting and eclectic mix of specialists and observers and I must ask Dr Scherezad to release an alternate series of notes from these trials in her traditional poetic form. I prefer her Haiku but I realised the challenge of including poly-syllabic words of scientific bent in a poem limited by the number of syllables used.
As for Ms. Evi Polenia..... while I have my concerns I must begrudgingly acknowledge her back ground in the field of Informorph Neurology though
I recommend for the sake of smooth proceedings you place Classiarii Vadam at least eight feet from the woman and ensure this distance is respected at all times. He has little love for the nation and a great love of swinging large bladed weapons.
Colour me interested though I doubt I nor my representative shall be able to attend the proceedings. The findings from your tests however do interest me as a member of the subsequent generation of Templar clones and one who participated in the extermination of the first generation.
