Upon downloading the client my computer became extremely slow. When I scanned it it showed that there were 2856 viruses just added. The computer blue screened badly. Its OS is so damaged that I can't even run repair software. I can't replace the computer so I am in trouble. So, thank you. Dust 514 puts so much stress on me that I had to see a doctor and EVE destroyed my computer.

That's funny. I downloaded EVE about 3 days ago and it works perfectly fine. I'm especially impressed that it runs very well on my laptop which isn't even designed for gaming, and I have it all set on high settings.  I get about 12 FPS max though.

Yeah, ever since Incarna EVE will burn your circuit board if you don't turn the graphics way down. Unfortunately, you have to load into the game to do it, so your processor fries before you even get a chance.

I tried to play eve on my MacBook Pro like 3 months ago. Downloaded it and had no problems. Started playing the game. Mac freezes for the first time EVER. No worries it unfroze and kept going. After a couple of seconds, fan goes from 0% to 100% in like 6 seconds. Gameplay was very smooth and graphics were perfect but the fan just worried me. I don't find it "healthy" for a computer to have to turn its fan to turbo mode. So I stopped playing it. It's still on my mbp. Ima delete it as i don't have $$$ to play or a gaming computer with 18 fans to keep me from worrying.

OP is either a troll or very bad with computers.
@ the others talking about Eve use.
I can run Eve on my 8 year old laptop that I use as my secondary computer by putting graphics all on low so I know that no one else should be having issues as crazy as you are saying. Just hit the ESC key and set everything to low and uncheck all effects.
Also a very important thing to do is to set to static image when docked and never ever go into the captains quarters. My big computer even has trouble with 2 Eve clients in the captains quarters. It is the most unoptimized thing in the game by far.
Remove NPC orbitals from FW. -- Fix orbital timers for Eve players assisting in Planetary Conquest.

I really tried to like EVE, but I just can't seem to get into it. It feels too, I don't know...disconnected? i don't really know how to describe it, I just always ended up really bored. Thankfully there are plenty space games coming out to scratch that itch for me.

I've got both ;)
I'm actually worried NMS may end up being really boring as far as gameplay goes, but it's still a mandatory purchase for me simply due to the fact that it even exists. It's a technological marvel, and not experiencing it first hand is really just doing yourself a disservice. I'll be racing to the center on my youtube from day 1 :)

I have not had a single problem and have been running it on windows 10 since the start of the technical preview.
I will say that I set the windows compatibility mode to windows 7 right from the start to avoid as many issues as possible. I suppose I had no faith that CCP code would function well in a different environment.
So you can recommend to the people you have been talking to:
Right click the eve exe and go to properties
Click on the compatibility tab
Check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
Select windows 7
Click OK
Repeat this process for the Eve launcher and enjoy.

This. Im just resubbed during ATXIII and running it on yoga 2 pro on intel chip without any troubles, all stats on low though, but however i had fun yesterday giving my ship

Jk. I run it on a two year old laptop with a core i7 and a meh okay graphics card. Only problem is overheat which is why I have a coolermaster usb fan #priorities. Though I can only run graphics at medium :( I'll be building my gaming pc soon..... SoonGäó
