So I just played a match where NO ONE rushed the objective and once it turned red , my team mates ( if that's what you can call them ) just flat out gave up .
Now I just see this on a regular and it has nothing to do with who's up against whom but more with the attitude of the community that take up the game .
Who rushes the objective ? Why would you hack a CRU or a installation ( that has a sliver of health and prove to be of no benefit ) .?. only to die from doing so right afterwards and your effort has created zero progress in the teams effort to gain ground . Why spend the first 3 mins of a game chucking grenades at each other and shooting each other , all the while the enemy is marching to the objective ( what YOUR team SHOULD BE doing ) to control the game ? Why allow this to become a hot topic as to infer that players are afraid of who's in-game ?
I myself run solo for the most part but I try to have faith in whatever team that I'm placed on , I care who I'm up against and as long as my team is going at it , so will I .
When I see that my team mates are making no effort then , I'm not going to die 20 to 30 times for nothing ... sorry but that's just not happening , I don't have the isk and to me that's just a waste when those whom you are teamed with do absolutely nothing but call LAV's and race or play gun tag the whole match .
I've just noticed the attitude of some that play this game and to me that's much more of a problem ( next to the games performance ) then anything .
I've played matches where fresh out the academy blues had more heart then some that I see that play on a regular , they throw themselves at the enemy showing them that it will be a fight to the end , now that I admire and appreciate but that's so few and far between and I also believe that's what causes this game to become stale after sometime .
Crappy attitude can ruin an experience in what should be a competitive environment .
P.S. I know about dailies that call for a certain amount of hacks but to me the victory means all the more then anything .
I guess they could become more of a priority then the game it's self at times , or are some just that lost in their efforts ?

Have you ever started a match where you see most just standing around , waiting to see what you or everyone else does .. instead of just rushing the objective or laying hives and such ?
I see that all too often and wonder why and what the hell are they waiting for .

Why play scrubmo.... I mean domination solo? I can't even stomach dom in a squad much less solo its all objective camping with mds shotty scouts and ahmg heavies that id rather break into fort knoxx. In skirm you can at least hack an objective that they aren't camping but you must just be a massochist

What can I say? Oh yeah, I can say essentially what EVE players said when this game got thrown to the PS3 GÇô It's free and on a console so it ain't gonna amount to much.
This problem is why subscription gaming is better. It's the only way to keep players halfway interested. If it were on the PC it'd also weed out the kiddies or the "adult" fast twitch crowd which tend to be hot headed and have short attention spans.

I can kinda agree with you but I just think that they need to just remove some of the maps from domination .
I would rather see them merge acq with fw to make fw's more combative and contested .
Most would have to work for stomps if the objectives just moved around after a set time and it would also add an element of strategy to that mode as well .
I keep saying that pubs should be random players , allowed time in the warbarge ( bring back the warbarge ) to create squads and that would fix the stomp problem . That's dom , skirm and bush .
I know people talk about squads but to me team is much more important and fw along with pc's should be those arena's where ready made squads come into play .
I understand that wouldn't be popular but it would solve the matchmaking problem ( that doesn't seem to have a remedy ) , allow new players to mix in with vets without the stomp squads and it would help those who wouldn't normally play together because of q's to actually develop a team over squad concept .
A lot of people who play this game just don't understand the concept of team .

xavier zor wrote: no one has spatial awareness these days I have to highlight this comment again , I find myself being trapped by my own team mates at times .. meaning , I can be shooting a MD , SL or PLC and I my team mates would just walk right in front of me while I'm doing so . I can move and it seems like these same people would follow me , I don't know if their trolling or just that unaware of something that's right in their faces .
Laying suppressing or cover fire while HMG heavy and I get crowded by people on my heels , restricting me from falling back once I start to take cover .
People would move right in front of me when and while throwing grenades , which eventually hit them in the back for the most part because not only do they move in front of me but for some reason , they just had to jump at the exact moment I threw the grenade .
I don't stand on others heels , I don't stand in front of someone while their firing ( ff or not ) , I don't move in the LOS of others at all .. at least I try not to but I see so many others that just are not aware of what's going on around them and how that not only hinders the progress of the team and their team mates but it could also , in the case of a PLC and MD or grenade ... cause your team mate to die .

Sony has brought this game to many who didn't even know about CCP or EVE for that matter , so for CCP it was a win .. win because it introduced their brand ( be it a buggy and inconsistent one ) to a group who was unaware all the while this company has been around for some time now .
Over a decade .
This type of attitude is crappy because it's for the most part , counterproductive and pushes the already bad reputation of the pc master race , which in it's self is foolish because gamming it's self rose to the point it is now threw the console market not home pc games .
Check the history , it's undeniable .
I'm sure you already know this .
A lot of your PC gaming companies wouldn't be around if it wasn't for the console market .
For the most part they drive each other .
This might be a mess to some , myself included but I understand that the dev's that started on this project for the most part , are not around anymore ... couple that with a change in leadership , failed with the WW acq which was suppose to build and help the brand among other issues .
The team at hand is still hard at work and people like yourself are still here , so the nay sayers can keep doing what they do , hopefully CCP will get this together and build off of what they started already .
If not , then it was somewhat fun ( without the bugs and glitches ) while it lasted .

If it were on the PC, it would be a fish dead in the water. CCP can't handle the rapid pace required to keep a Shooter server live for PC's. They operate WAAAAaY too slowly.
People would use a dredge program to grab scraps of the code, and make their own private servers... that would inevitably work far better than CCP's setup.

I feel like victory payouts should be much higher to encourage people to actually try to win. I play solo a lot as well and it's truly frustrating to the point where I don't wanna play when fellow blues are sitting in the red line, not pushing, not spawning, etc.
I like acquisition the best right now. Seems like better fights for a solo guy. Usually it's filled with noobs and one or two good players to match up against. |

Higher payout might induce more to stomp harder but I do agree with the premise .
Something needs to be done to promote an effort but I don't know if that would stop players from abandoning their team mates for LAV races , dropping 5 or 6 LAV's and letting them just sit there while their team is getting mauled , chucking grenades at each other , hopping in front of you and just standing there like you logged in to see their tired @sses or the random gun battle against team mates instead of the enemy .
I really would like to figure out what could be done to promote effort and better battles instead of the stomp fest that seems to plague this game .
It seems to be no middle ground , just matches ending in stomping redlines .
I haven't had a hard fought to the last sliver of the MCC battle in a long time .
Either my team stomps or I'm getting stomped .

I got so frustrated in a game yesterday. (Generally in a match I will make it to the point the fastest and I will hack it first) Now, it was a dom on the bridge map. I drop a couple links, hack the point after killing two scouts and then proceeded to hold the objective and kill a couple other people, but that was it. I had NO backup at all. I died, I pushed forward still to no avail and with no help from my teammates. Probably the third time I died, I look at the redline and do you know what I saw?
8 Mother F'ing snipers. WHAT???? Why are people so useless anymore. In what world is having half of your team redline sniping? Its not even like they were doing anything good. Maybe one or two of them got a kill here and there but ??????????????WOT??????????????

Hell, I used to see this in BF4 via some streamers I used to watch on Twitch. The moment they had the majority of objectives the entire enemy team would spawn back in the un-cap and pull sniper.
