Were they armor and you shields, or both the same? Either way the collision damage in this game is borked.

On the flipside there are times I can morally justify ramming someone, sometimes its unavoidable in a dogfight, both pilots get so absorbed in shooting each other and staying on top of the target that it just ends up happening. And then theres what i call fancy fliers, who will flop and swing about spending 90% of their time being fancy instead of fighting, then run away the moment they take more than a few shots in a row. Those pilots I will ram with glee, because anyone that will only shoot at you while your back is turned is so risk adverse that they need to be punished harshly. The only time to back down from a fight is to go back to your supply depot to get more ammo, also pilots aren't really prone to accidentally ramming each other... Sounds like you haven't gotten into too many intense dogfights if you haven't accidentally bumped against the other pilot. Also the other time to back down is anytime you're using missiles and they're using rails, because if they're even half as good as you they're gonna win that fight every single time.

That's actually one of the better evasive maneuvers if you can judge their trajectory cuz if you can move up on them fast but just miss them you'll over shoot them, gain the height advantage, and you'll be out of their LoS long enough for a full repair in most cases. But that same maneuver can easily wind up with both ships exploding.

This works better and doesn't result in accidental rams. I love pilots like you cuz you're very easy to track with my railgun :3

Well keep at it :3 Should I ever see you I'll show you why those evasive maneuvers aren't as good as they seem :3

Clearly you don't engage strong AV if you think a single hardener = no problems lmfao. You're going to spend a large amount of time at flight ceiling or the edges of the battle waiting to come off of cooldown, and even during your cycle you can easily be alpha'd if you do anything but immediately run. Double hardener allows you to eat a couple shots before having to run, but you're a paper airplane covered in gas when the hardener isn't active, and now that hardeners take a few seconds to activate, that's very bad vs invisible swarms.
So if you never really engage the enemy and hang out way up in the sky the entire match, then yes, you might have some decent suitability. If you actually try to get down and put in some work though, you're going to find your window shorter than it seems and your downtime longer than you expect.
