I found a Simi decent min scout setup the other day. Baring in mind I'm not your average scout, I don't use cloacks as they take up alot of pg/cpu even with level 4 min scout .
My min scout:
2 forscale plates
1 damp
2 shield extenders
1 enhanced blue bottle
Rs90 combat
Advanced knifes
Basic re's
Compacted hives
Flux nades
Just about 500hp , fast and durable . Works great for a fast flak .
Anyone got any other fits? Tgat don't have kinkats on.
Also I've got the advanced amarr scout but I cannot find any kinda good fit, I've tryed fast and Amor stacked but nothing. Any ideas?

I am skilled into kinkats I just don't use them on already fast suits, what's the point in running at 11mps if u can be one shotted by most weapons. Also I find the myro comes in hands in with knifes as you cannot charge and run . But it can sometimes screw you over , jumping in front of the enemy and on certain maps its helpfully for remote rooftops which you only just cannot get on without it

Mostly as a support scout for being in a sqd,good counter to low-med sp enemy scouts, it's currently fitted with projectile weapons for rof and anti armour dmg
Good/excellent ewar but still has adequate mobility and defense
Can vary it's lows to fit a more specialised purpose

I guess there are different fits for different people. I find a complex kincat to be fantastic on my Min scout. |

I'll take kincats over tank any day. Tanking anything on a scout seems llike a waste, if your getting in fights where your planning on taking a couple shots & living you are probably doing it wrong. Dmg mods, kincats & damps are the only modules you need. After that, a high alpha sidea, terrifying sidearm and forsight will get you through most engagements.

well, i usually use min scout to run like a *** all over the map and stab ppl in the back with knives, but if you wanna play a pc with it I guess this is fine:
Two adv shields and 1 proto
CR
Ishukone Nova Knives
1 enhanced kincat
1 enhanced cardiac regulator
1 complex dampener
equipment: what you want/need
Amarr scout (I use it to sprint to the city):
Two complex precision enhancers
Three complex kincats and 1 complex cardiac regulator

Nice to see you found something that works for you with Minja.
I run all four scouts an different characters, mostly it started out as a way to see how they progress differently and keep them faction specific. What I learned was that running them all in a different style, and adapting fits to perform a role made all the difference in individual suits effectiveness. It's the whole package of fitting, play style, and adaptability that makes them useful and fun. Generally I never find "One Fit to Rule Them ALL" is actually effective in Dust, unless it's because it's OP.
I'm in agreement with you on the cloak. You are often better off using the fitting space on other stuff, cloak utility isGǪ lacking.
Minja I run mostly Damage mods and different combinations of Kinz, code breakers and Damps depending on the opponents, map, game mode. I enjoy low HP characters in most games, and this suits my style. You have obviously started to find a niche that works for you and I would recommend experimenting with variations for situational changes.
Amarr Scout is generally regarded as the worst scout, but it can still be an effective scout. I can only tell you how I use it and what I find effective, you can take that for what it's worth. I'll start with one of my fits, that forms the foundation that I built my other fits off of.

Flux Nade (Utility purposes Cleans Uplinks, panics Vehicles, Clears Objectives of pesky traps.)

Needle/Reptool/Scanner
The philosophy of this fit is to support a group by ranging out as Vanguard and flank. Placing and uplink to keep the team close to the action, (not placing it where it is easily found mind you) Popping in and out of cover using the ScR to maintain distance from the enemy, while the main force of Blues keeps them focused on their line. It takes more than one person to break off and kill you, because you can drop one before they get to you. This means the Reds are devoting more energy to you than your team. Advantage is now on your side.
Stacked Reactives gives you a bit of HP but more importantly Reps. You are operating out of reach of your team, so you need some self sufficiency. Damp is for positioning and sneaking up on their flank guards and such.
Precision Enhancer lessens the chances that you will get snuck up on, especially when hacking Installations, or when you've killed someone and they are coming to get you after respawning.
Breach ScP is a great sidearm, but you can replace it with whatever you find useful and are practiced with.
Needle or Reptool is great when you are in city maps and not ranging far from your line, like when defending a point with a few other people.
Scanner is great for letting all those team members see what you just saw, or keeping track of the people who moved out of your passive scan range. Essentially used for painting people so you don't lose them.
You can build off of this build to suit your own style. It's all about what works for you.

Cheap amar scout fit. Has made me millions.
Scout a1(precision enhancer for the high slot,double complex kincats,adv armour reps[fall damage is a pain with this suit,75 sheild can't take much] shotgun and submachine gun,probably around 15k isk. Nets me about 15 plus kills or more.(old fit when suits had the standard slots.)

More space(double complex precision enchancers(highs) double complex kincats,complex dampener for the extra slot and adv reps(fall damage screws you over with the amarr slow reps.) Whatever light weapon you want on the light slot,whatever sidearm you can fit. Comes with free cloak feild that uses no pg/cpu and remote explosives for free. Pretty much the the reason scanners are all over the field.(I'm such a jerk,guess I made people salty by shotgunning them in the back with a such a underused suit.)
Min scout? I don't even run it anymore.
