I'm having trouble trying to set up a Galmando PLC AV fit. As of now, it is equipped with:
2 PLCs
2 damage mods
Kincat
Armor Rep
Cardiac Reg
Compact Nano
My aim was to try and be as mobile as possible whilst having some form of repair to accompany a hit and run play style. It's decent, but it feels too squishy. I often die to enemy fire even before I have a chance to shoot at whatever vehicle I'm chasing after. I also wonder if I'd be better with some other form of equipment instead of my nanos.
To those successful in using the Galmando as an AV unit, would you mind helping me out? I'd really appreciate it. |

I see most people at least have an AR of some sort to combat infantry.

Your going about it all wrong.as a plc user your great against shield hav and lav's. Having 2 is will accomplish nothing as you still need a third shot to take down most decent hav's .
Personaly id recommend this:
Advanced breach AR
Advanced plc
1 plate
2 reactives
Rep hive
Shield extenders or damage mods (up to you)

Galmando doesn't have enough Alpha to take on armour tanks even with 2 plcs, so I'd recommend fitting a rifle in the second slot

It's your big hitbox that makes you feel squishier.

Use myofibers so you have a third weapon for CQC.
Also you can jump on top of the tanks and make them freak out while you spam plasma on their poop deck!

I have a number of fits that I run but a pretty solid one to start off and then tweak to fit your personal style is as follows:

instead of two plc's use packed remotes for equipment and switch one plc for a shot gun or ar of choice, something to at least be able to combat infantry, try to get the packed remotes on the vehicle before using the plc after you take out their shields detonate them
bam dead armor HAV, the galmando isn't the best AV suit out there but do keep in mind that you dont have to lock yourself on using the PLC you get a bonus to reload of all light weapons so you can still be effective with a swarm launcher, just keep in mind that your equipment slot can make or break your fitting, as you cant carry any nades you have to rely more on your AV weapon and equipment slot to be effective as an AV player
conserve your ammo if you do decide to use anything other then a hive, or make sure you have a way to resupply quickly if need be
