I think it needs to be revived this is the current stats:
Damage - 300 HP
Blast Radius - 2.50m
Max held - 1
Also you can only restock a maximum of 2 from any nanohive...
What it should be:
Damage - 450 Hp
Blast radius - 5m
Max held - 2
Whats the point in them being in the game if they are worse than militia?

I 100% feel your pain on that Sax, I pulled them out a few times and put them back away and went back to my cores.
Pretty darn useless. It really does feel like your using militia nades.

I was gonna skill in to them. Forget core locus thukker is where the real pros get frags.

LOL you think I dont know that? I have used them many many times and they are weak af for on contact grenades. Way to weak! I know they are finishers but 300 damage with 2.50 radius is the weakest form of proto I have ever seen. Like SAX said it mine as well be militia LOL.

It's not worst than MLT it has the same stats as the STD Contact Grenade (Fused Locus Grenade).

Do you not remember just how terrible it was when these were good?
I remember it was back when run and gun required some skill and autoaim didn't win every fight, guys who I used to have good rifle fights with suddenly decided they didn't need to use the rifle much anymore and after firing a few shots would lob a grenade at your feet.
It was terrible and frustrating then and it will be again if those nades become good again.

Thukkers are so bad now no one hardly uses them and that should be all that needs to be said.
Just make them usable again.
SAX already supplied the perfect stats at where they should be at for the proto version.

Damage-350
Blast radius-3m which is where I think the high damage Core Locus should be at...
Max held - 2 ( or keep the 450 damage for Max Held=1)

I don't think they were ever out of the market....
I've used them from time to time when I'm in the mood for a real challenge.

so are you the type of guys that would buff the flay lock just because you cant OHKO anyone? 300 damge is already double the damge of a flay lock with comparable radius, taking into account the profile it does 360 damge to armor two of these should be enough to finish of an armored target after taking down their shields, a third one would make sure yo can take out tanked targets or shiled users that take less damge
keeping the radius makes it so it wont be favorable to spam and it makes it so it takes more skill to use rather then have a nade like the core that can do over 700 damge to armor and over 500 to shields with a radius that can easily clear out small rooms, with the current visibility and almost no form of counter play it can certainly be considered OP even without having to spam it
3 carried makes it at least be favorable to use while not affecting performance so it doesn't become OP especially when being spammed

in my call ass I used to cqc my core nades, take damage, survive with scout level health, and regen fast enough to get another one off if it was necessary. shield regulators do need a buff though.

btw. It's interesting that everytime explosive nades are mentioned, a lot of people are lobbing against "OHK grenades" but they are perfectly cool with any grenade being able to OHK 90% of scouts... |
