Does anyone here know how your armor / armor plates change your jump height exactly? I am wondering how the jump height is factored

I don't know the exact details, but the general idea is that movement speed applies a base power to your jump, then the boosters stack on that.
This is why Scouts can jump but sentinels can't.

I haven't tried using a runspeed module with the jumps yet, so not sure if the modules affect the base jump.

nope. heavies just straight up can't jump. increasing movement speed does nothing for jump height, different frames just have specified jump heights only modified by myrofibrils and armor plates.

Sentinels can jump just not as high as scouts.

You haven't said I was wrong. Only that you misread what I wrote. Base power is base power.
Or I miswrote what you read. meh,

Kin Cats do increase your sprint jump height very slightly.

 Not walking jump height.

9.64m/s can make a adv melee module seem like you're leaping at someone like a cheetah

I'm assuming the myos boosts the base stat what ever that may be for a given loadout, as even 4 complex myos on a Caldari sentinel only did about what 1 would do on a scout suit in terms of additional jump height.
