I can get Intel WPs when I use a scanner while running with a squad but I get nothing when I use a scanner while running solo? It doesn't seem fair to me. |

Scanners are just one of those things you can do to help your team immensely, but not really get much of a reward out of it. You only get points for kills your squad makes. You get nothing for kill assist or equipment. Which is a bit sad considering the main use of scanners is to take out equipment imo. It's gotten better/worse depending on your game mode however. Pub matches it's nearly useless to have a scanner due to 4 man squads. FW and PC are better in that you can get 8 to 16 man squads and depending on your coverage get points for pretty much every kill that happens on the map.
Even then though you earn far less than just about any other piece of equipment you could equip. After all even if you got credit for every clone on the enemy team, 150 *18 is only 2700 points. And honestly I highly doubt most people would manage to scan every single person before they die in a Skirm style map.

You're right it's not fair - scans shouldn't be shared with the whole team.  |

that would encourage people to spam scans more than they already do. if anything, scans shouldnt be shared at all, and the person scannin should actually have to play and talk to their teamates and thell them 'theres X dumbasses over there' |

Just because you don't get wp from it doesn't mean it isn't beneficial to a team win. That is the largest problem in this game. People are more concerned about wp than they are about a team win. |

I'd like to add on to this, due to there being almost no risk in using one, there should not be a good reward, getting inlet kills left and right for any kill just because you are providing permascans is not fair in no competitive game modes
while being vital in PC and FW at times where they are more rewarding when used in full 8 and 16 man squads, they already provide a big reward in itself by allowing you to know where enemies are and share that intel with your team making it easier to win, but if all you are doing is scanning you dont deserve to be rewarded as much as someone who is directly supporting the team rather then passively showing the whole team where enemies are
one thing that should be changed are passive scan intel kills, these should be rewarded in the same way active scans are to make Ewar more important as far as scan precision and range mods go
if you want to be rewarded for providing scans go into FW or PC or squad up with good slayers that will use your scans to provide you passive WP gains rather then asking for something that can already be considered an exploit in public matches to be rewarded further then it already is
the difference between FW/PC and pubs is that mainly PC and FW are populated by veteran players that can counter such tactics while pubs are filled with casual or even new/low sp players that cannot counter it
