the Tribal Spear.
True to the Minmatar design philosophy, the Cafe had taken a Minimalist yet, homely atmosphere with its Stained dark cherry wood lining the walls and the railing, the entrance floor was directly over another floor, with a set of stairs leading into a second floor below, both places lined with sofas and tables made of a lighter shade of wood than the walls. underneath the second floor was the where the cashiers would calmly take orders of any customers.
the ceiling had been stripped, revealing the bare skeleton of the building for those to see, various charms and light fixtures hung from the piping and the walls, if one where to transcribe the writing, would reveal simple prayers for health and longevity.
However, it is near the back of this calm, and simple cafe, an elevator with the words VIP that stands out. after boarding the elevator, you are greeted with a bouncer, who will politely ask for your weapons and hidden tools. one obligating to such a request, you are given permission to enter. As the Doors open you are greeted with a simple plague, one that has shown its test of time, the rusted coloring of the metal holds a motto, one respected by nearly most Thukker Tribesmen.
"You are neither Amarr, Caldari, Gallente nor Minmatar as long as you inhabit these premises."
the Immortals section of the Cafe has taken on a more modern approach, its Lavish and spacious decor bear some similarities to Caldarian Interior design, yet the metallic tones that were prevalent were replaced with wooden furniture sourced from the Temperate planets of the Wildlands.
On the far corner of the lounge, a small series of tables and chairs are arranged neatly close to the windows, offering a view of the Space station from where it was located. outside you could be the sparks and the flashes of repair crews welding fresh armor plates to battered vessels, or maintenance drones applying a layer of paint to conceal the battle scars of the vessels past.
to the center, is a large island table, at its center lay a large helping of beverages, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic in nature, teas of various empires and a wide variety of fruit.
you take a seat (anywhere), and immediately a drone appears and addresses you in proper form.
"D'weu, Welcome to the Tribal's Spear, our today's special is a Caldarian dessert of sweet rice with red beans inside coated in Soybean powder, complete with a beverage of your choosing"

Jonny smiled as he read the message on his wristcomp. Been a while since someone opened a new restaurant, he thought as he puffed on a cigar. He heard a scream and looked up from his wrist comp.
"Damn it, Marcy!" Jonny shouted as he got up from his seat. "I said DON'T slice the jugular!" He approached the dangaling man who was covered in cuts and was missing certain appendages. He then drew his ion pistol and put one semi-charged round in between the man's eyes. Looking up at his daughter he could see the look of pur ecstasy in her eyes.
"F*ck you old man, I was just starting to have fun!" She said spitting on him.
Jonny wiped the spit off, holstered his weapon and headed for the door, picking up his coat on the way out. "Clean this **** up Marcy, and message me the report on what he told you. I'm going out for coffee." With that he made his way to the Cafe Hya'salia mentioned in her message.
When he arrived, he took a look around and decided to sit in the immortals section. Once he sat down he ordered a coffee, black no sugar, and began to admire the decor. It wasn't his style or taste, but he felt like it suited the place quite well.
Once he got his coffee, he took out a flask from his jacket pocket and poured a little bit of liquor into his coffee. He took a sip, grimanced, them poured a bit more liquor in it.
I wonder if I can smoke in here he thought.
On the other side of the cafe, he saw a couple mortals giving him a dirty look, he ignored it. He was used to it.

"ok, put her through her paces, Issac.... slowly... 2 points starboard on my mark..... Now" Hyasalia commanded to her bridge members. some looked back at her and simply nodded in agreement. she turned to issac and gave him a pat on the shoulder.
"Well... another hard day of work i guess" Issac replied. bags had appeared underneath his eyes. for him and most of hte crew it was the longest time pulling contracts since... a while. with the last one done, he knew that the crew earned a well-deserved leave.
"so, Hya'salia" we got enough to cover the expenses? or..."
"well got enough to live comfortably for a good stretch of time, get the Day and night crew a few days shore leave. afterwards we stock up of supplies for a run at the wildlands... Vacation time" she smiled at the last part. Issac merely nodded in agreement, straightened his posture and made off to convey the news.
As Hya'salia was walking towards the station entrances, she could swear she heard very faintly her crew cheering.
' Ahh.... Soo good to be back' Hya'salia noted, and then decided to make way to her old friend's newer startups. "the Tribal Spear"
Walking in, she heard the faint sounds of the Pii'hotki as a woman faintly sings one fo the ancient folktales she's heard of countless times. "Skymother" she also saw others of various races, enjoying their food or chatting it up with a few of the employees. "heh, at least its off to a good start" Hya'salia noted, as she made her way to the elevator. after depositing her Sigis in the care of the bouncer, she made her way to the immortal's room, where the first thing she saw was a familiar face, the immortals favorite drunk... having a coffee.
"D'weu, Buelle, how is everything so far??" Hya'salia piped up, as she took a seat in the island table. "one estikin hubra, please" Hya'salia said, referring to an Amarrian Tea that she had been introduced to by Issac. though reluctant at first, she had started to enjoy it due to its supposed rejuvenating qualities

which is why she felt a pang of Deja Vu when she saw Satja alongside an Amarrian.there was no mistaking the facial structure of a true blood. But try as she might, she could not put a finger as to who he was. his features looked more.... relaxed than any other Amarrian she knew of.
When she saw them take a seat near the windows facing the docks. normally she'd let them be, but this was a momentous occasion. she quickly got up and walked over to Satja.
"Li'b achwio Satja, D'weu " Hyasalia said to Satja, with a simple smile. |

"Junko!" Jonny said with a grin, raising his coffee cup. "Good to see you! Everything is fine!"
He looked into his coffee cup and realized he was out. He placed the cup down and ordered another. As he waited he heard footsteps followed by a slight gasp. He turned to see Kador and Satja walking into the Immortal's section of the cafe. His grin widened as he saw them sit together.
"My, my, I think Kador looks a bit different, don't you think Junko? Something about him is different."
A moment later his second cup of coffee was served, into which he poured a bit more liquor from his flask, hoping no one would notice.

'ahh too late' Hya'salia thought right after taking her third sip. she heard the sudden gasps of both a man and a woman near the entrance and looked to whoever it was.
One of the various skills she had in her disposal was her ability to gauge the sounds in the enviroment. As a dropship pilot, she needed to pinpoint the type of weapon that was being fired upon her, be it forge or swarm launchers or even a tank round. As a logistics operator, she needed to listen for any breathing coming from a wounded soldier, or if any bones were broken when diagnosis.
so there was no mistaking a male and female's voices, and as she turned to confirm her suspisions, there was no mistaking the female; her "Sister", Satja. her face brightened considerably, then noted the awkward atmosphere her and the man next to her.
Satja Askarin. she met her during a job that also had her Master; a man Hya'salia only refers to as "Adamance", though only calling him that because of their extensive history as Clone Soldiers. Galm looked like hell as his resounding mundane and non-augmented eyes pieced back at his reflection in his datapad through the grey tint of his aviators. They squinted harshly, struggling to read the blurry words before him in the dim light of his fledgling war barge. He had been on constant deployment for the week, ferrying equipment from system to system across Black Rise in a desperate effort to meet the demand placed by the sudden success of the State Peacekeepers. His ship was a loud, cramped place more akin to a galactic recreational vehicle than a warship and the relentless hammering of the mobile replication lab had kept him from sleeping for several days now. Not that sleep was a requirement for him, but the option was always thoroughly appreciated in the past.
He reached up to rub his temples, waiting for the telltale squirming beneath the surface that hinted at the madness that writhed within. But there was nothing, only the persistent throbbing that had been there for weeks now. He grinned in self satisfaction, hoping he had finally gained some level of control over his psychosis. He may look rugged, unshaven and scarred from backbreaking labor in between combat deployments, but that was all superficial. It was a badge of honor that could be washed away in a moment, and despite his growing migraine he felt far more pride in himself than he had in an age. Despite the pain, sleep deprivation, and mild hangover, it was shaping up to be a wonderful day.
Besides, he had just received an invitation from a former comrade.
The jump to Minmatar space and subsequent rotation planetside may have seemed somewhat drastic to a man not familiar with Hya'salia's cooking but for Galm it seemed like a perfectly reasonable excuse to distance himself from the calamity of war for a few precious hours. Besides, the opening of a new restaurant by a woman like Junko would almost certainly herald the gathering of some of the clusters more interesting mercenaries. Whether or not this was a good thing had yet to be seen, but Fae was certain it would at least be worth the journey.
He eyed the sign outfront of the VIP section for several seconds, his hands tucked tightly into his bomber jacket as the words settled with him.
"You are neither Amarr, Caldari, Gallente nor Minmatar as long as you inhabit these premises."
The concept felt completely alien to Fae, but given the pattern that most conversations between immortals seemed to take without such restriction he felt obliged to mentally agree to the terms posted before entering. He took a seat at the nearest raised stool, eyeing the service drone uncomfortably as it made its rounds until at last it found its way to the halfbreed.
"D'weu, Welcome to the Tribal's Spear, our today's special is a Caldarian dessert of sweet rice with red beans inside coated in Soybean powder, complete with a beverage of your choosing!"
"W--" Galm stammered before clearing his throat, "What, like mochi? Ugh, yeah, yes, I'll have some of those. I'd also like a cup of smoked tea if you have any."
He scanned the bar, making awkward eye contact with the occupants for a brief moment before returning to the drone.
"Actually, swap that tea with a matari mojito... And best you just keep those coming once I'm done with one."

Satja visibly twitched at the mention of the True Amarr member of Junko's crew, craning her neck around so she could glare and Jonny for several seconds before returning back to the menu. She only looked up when she felt a tap on her shoulder and looked up to see Kador with a defeated smile across his features gesturing that they should join the other two.
Compared to how he had been months ago the young Udorian certainly looked more at ease than ever though he still hadn't quite gotten past that intense brooding look that sometimes though he did laugh a more than he once had. She sometimes suspected that this was more the person he'd been before the Palas, perhaps even becoming and immortal.
She considered protesting but in the end capitulated gathering a chair from one of the other tables on her way across and taking a seat next to Junko while Kador settled down in another chair on the other side.
"Hya'salia!" She said warmly turning to face the Matari woman. "It's been too long. How are you?......"
She glanced side ways at Kador who appeared to still be appreciating the restaurant's aesthetic. "...how is Isaac? It's been so long since you last wrote a journal entry. The community was thinking you'd gone dark on them."

"Busy" Hya'salia replied, downing the rest of her tea. she looked at the cup for a bit and then ordered a Quafe.
"well the both of us, since he is my second in command when we are in the Se'terra. i'd imagine he's off finishing the last of hte nessecary paperwork before we can finally grab some R&R in my homeworld." Hya'salia replied, answering jonny's question.

hearing Satja's voice, from so close, Hya'salia turned and smiled.
"Satja!!" without a moments hesitation, she stood up and gave her a warm hug as if they were close relatives.
"its been soo long, aahh and how you've matured" Hya'salia noted, giving her the once over. indeed she had matured, she was no longer the scared slave she first saw, but Standing tall among the immortals.
her chest is also noticeably bigger.
"ahh Issac is attending to some business in the Se'terra, after that is a little R&R " Hyasalia said, taking a seat next to her. soon afterwards a cold bottle of quafe was delivered from the drone, grabbing it and popping the top off, she took a decent gulp, admiring the fizzy liquid cooling her mouth.
"as for the journal... well my home system came down with some weird outbreak, i was among one of the infected so i had to stop for a while and recover, and after that, Ishukone had a large queue of deliveries and contracts and before i knew it...!" hya'salia said as she recalled the past events as best she could. |

They chatted quietly for several minutes until Kador saw his opportunity to interject, nudging her shoulder insistently.
"Oh.... of course Ka." She squeaked rather excitably pulling the Udorian who was leaning back comfortably in his chair closer to the table. She eyed Jonny warily as if wait for some kind of comment before turning her attentions back to Junko. "I know you've already met a few times but....that was for work...so....um..."
"It's a pleasure to meet you Junko....properly this time." He said leaning across the table offering her his hand. "I hope we can also be friends, Satja admittedly hasn't introduced me to many of her's yet. But please, if you could, just call me Kador or even Tem...."

'so Thats how it is' she thought. but the thought whittled away as she took his hand, shaking it firmly.

As the beers were served, Jonny thrust one into Kadors hand, slapped him on the back and said "I didn't think you had it in you! I'm so proud of you, Ka" he then raised his beer to toast Kador and downed it in one go and ordered another round.

The two seemed to share an incredulous moment, his clear green eyes meeting her own violet-grey, leaving an awkward silence to hang between the small group of patrons. How the conversation had suddenly leapt from Kador's polite introductions to both Jonny and Hya'salia to marriage of all things she did not know. The concept was so inconceivable.
They'd only some months ago.... effectuated their relationship and she still remained a slave for the foreseeable future.
"No! No! No! Hold on a second Hya'salia.....we just.... I mean we're just 'together', okay." She replied stammering back and explanation she hoped did not sound as inappropriate as she thought it did and trying not to blush. " Nothing's really changed..... we're still trying to adjust to this being a public thing. I mean hell we still haven't figured out how to explain this to my Holder..... or my parents. Ka..."
She glanced over to Kador who, offering a quiet grunt of thanks to Jonny, had gratefully tipped back his pint of ale and was taking long draughts from the glass to avoid having to address the conversation directly. From her seat next to him she could see colour in his sun-bronzed cheeks, the slight beginnings of a scowl, and the same thoughtful lines appearing over his brow.
Rather than say anything she jabbed her below into his ribs at the same time Jonny slapped him on the back causing him to double up coughing, the Matari alcohol bubbling dangerously to the lip of the glass.
"It's not an ideal situation." It took several moments before Kador could speak in between laboured breaths. He shifted in his seat so that he could lean on the table and allow Satja to slip out of her tan sleeveless jacket. "...but we're doing our best to make it work."
"I've not heard any complaints from you." She reminded him pointedly leaning across to take a sip from his glass, and exaggerated look of mild distaste directed as Jonny as if to ask what he saw in the amber liquid.
"That's because I have none Little One."
She loved hearing those words. Almost three years on since she'd met the man in a faceless combat clone she'd known him to be troubled by many things, but now the fact that the nature of their relationship was out in the open and no longer one of them was a great weight off both their shoulders.
"Chosen anything yet?" Kador mumbled absently flicking through the holographic 'pages' of the menu casting appreciative emerald eyes over the vast selection of sea foods. From this angle, with that expression, she sometimes thought he could have passed as a Gallentean holostar.
"Mmmm.....you....". You choose was what she'd meant to say. She was still day dreaming.
"One the menu I mean." He chided her using a sarcastic tone that was neither venomous nor cutting.
She snapped out of her personal revere, cheeks burning. She deserved it though, she berated herself internally cursing the tall Udorian next to her. Unable to meet the gaze of any of the others at the table she slumped against the table top and buried her head in her arms allowing the long dark curls to splay across the table.
"Just get me anything you choose." She mumbled back.
"Okay. We'll have the Grilled Rockjaw in peach and pepper sauce, the Charisoco served with fruited rice, some flat bread, and can I have one of those fried Choupan's with that liquor it comes with?"
((For reference his name is Kador Ouryon not the other way around. Confusing I know because Kador is an heir family name..... in this context it's my character's first name. A mistake I made a long time ago and didn't realise until the character had become near and dear and I couldn't bare to change it.))

She replied stammering back and explanation she hoped did not sound as inappropriate as she thought it did and trying not to blush.
((For reference his name is Kador Ouryon not the other way around. Confusing I know because Kador is an heir family name..... in this context it's my character's first name. A mistake I made a long time ago and didn't realise until the character had become near and dear and I couldn't bare to change it.))
Hya'salia listened intently, as the two looked visibly shaken by her little idea of a joke, inside she wondered if she had taken it too far, something of a flaw in her way of thinking, or perhaps its natural for her?
But as she observed the two of them, with Satja lumping over the table(most likely blaming herself or something akin to embarrassment while Ouryon checks through the menu after choking through matari liquor, she simply nodded.
'yeah, they are definitely going to get married, but i guess later ,when time permits it' she thought
"Hey, dont worry Satja, you two will make it work, if it takes a while longer then so be it." she said politely as she gently shook Satja's shoulder. she brought her bottle to her lips and realized she already drank through her quafe. Ordering another one she leaned back and as a fresh bottle was delivered to her hands, she smiled a bit more.
"besides, you two aren't the only one's i've seen with this kind of predicament" Taking a drink she then set the bottle on the table and looked at them in a reassuring manner.
"definitely not the only ones" a voice said, coming from the entrance, dressed in traditional black business attire, with a simple ponytail to keep her black hair in check, a Caldarian woman with sharp features approached the group holding a small number of datapads.
"Jun-mai, its been a while, loved what you did to this place" Hya'salia said with a small chuckle, raising her hand to her good friend, the owner of the Tribal Spear.
"no, if it wasn't for your father, this idea wouldn't have gotten off the ground. its already proving to be a larg-" Jun-mai stopped as she noticed the others in the group, other cloned soldiers have taken various seats, and the simple drone she programmed to serve as a waiter of sorts has been working quite well.
"Kyoko, you forgot the flashy introductions" Hya'salia grinned, part of an inside joke between the two, Kyoko gave a small glare her way.
" ahh forgive me for my rashness, I am Kyoko Jun-mai, the proprietress of this establishment and a former capsuleer." she spoke while bowing politely.
"though im certain the capsuleer part still applies?" Hya'salia asked, to which Kyoko retorted.
"as much as your claims of being "Semi-retired" hold any merit"
" depends on the job" Hya'salia replied, taking another sip of the Quafe, she noticed the Datapads Kyoko was holding and saw the Ishukone logo on one of them. |

Thal heard many voices as he sat. His brother in arms, Kador Ouryon and his lover Satja. Two people very close to him in his heart. In the past weeks, Thal had grown to see Kador as more then a fellow Templar, but a close friend. He sighed at the third voice. Junko. He both hated and loved the voice. He had tried to bury his feelings for her, but he never could. He resolved to keep her as he had many others he had felt strongly for, as a friend to watch over. He pulled down his hood, and nodded to Kador and Satja.

He turned to the drone waiter and quickly ordered a shot of whiskey, downed it, then smoothed hisbhair and straightened his coat. He also went as far as taking off his aviators, revealing a pair of dark blue eyes.
He walked up to Kyoko, smiled and said, "Mrs Jun-Mai, you have a created a lovely establishment. The atmosphere is so rich and vibrant. However the beauty of this place dulls in comparison to yourself.

By now Galm was finishing off his fourth mochi and was looking at the bottom of his third mojito that night. The atmosphere of the bar was pleasant enough, and though he urged himself not to eavesdrop it seemed like his fellow immortals were having a grand time of the bar's launch. Galm gave only a grunt of affirmation to himself when he overheard the conversation between Kador and the young Satja.
So the choir boy is doing well for himself? Good, good for him.
He considered, for a moment or two, turning around to offer a toast in celebration or at the very least acknowledge the immortal since their mission in Snowfall but... The time wasn't right. He suspected that neither was willing to mention what they had set in motion, not in the least in the presence of his Matari cohort.
Whatever.
He picked up his fifth rice cake as he waited for the liquor-bot to make it's rounds once again, eager for another drink to wash down the sickeningly sweet bean past and his own bittersweet memories. Maybe he should... Make conversation? It had been a while since he'd gotten a drink with others. Snowfall didn't count, he was just playing the role that he needed to fill. Pixy was outgoing in front of others, and didn't mind butting into other's conversations for the sake of his own self importance.
Galm on the other hand was a mystery to himself. He supposed if anyone could grant insight into his character it would be Niina, but she had found herself traveling on business once again and Fae had been unwilling to bother her with an invitation into Minmatar space. Not that he needed Niina to have fun anyway.
I'm serious, he told himself, I don't need them to have a good time without making an ass of myself. I don't need Niina, I don't need Morgan, and I don't need frakking Mobius.
His fourth drink arrived just in time for him to chase the thought down. With a deep sight he picked up the lime garnish on top and slipped the whole rind into his mouth, his teeth grinding on the raw peel. He sat there grimacing at his table, staring at his plate until a young woman took a seat next to him. She tilted her head and smiled cheerfully, her face hidden behind a large pair of designer shutter shades.
"This spot taken handsome?"
Galm sneered painfully, swallowing the lime wedge on reflex as he recoiled at her voice. It was piercing but damnably familiar to the point that he instantly knew that he had made a mistake coming here.
"Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck," he sighed, sliding his mochi plate to the girl next to him as she broke out into a series of snorty giggles and claimed one for herself. Her nose crinkled ever so slightly as the young miss Eskola-Fae pulled of her glass so her eyes met Galm's.
"What, you aren't excited I'm here? Is there a girl in the bathroom you were about to bring back to your warship? Did I **** block you? I'm so sorry!"
"Niina, I look like ****."
"Galm," her voice adding a matter-of-fact emphasis, "There is very little you could do to yourself th--"
"No, no, Niina, you're a businesswoman now. You don't wanna be seen with your beatneck husband in a bar for soldiers. Besides, you're suppose to be on business!"
"Galm," that matter-of-fact tone growing even more bold, "Maybe you've forgotten but you made me one of you guys. I was invited here as a fellow immortal, and I came. And maybe you've forgotten, but we also have a secondary storehouse that we use for weapon replication on a Boundless station. I am here on business, and I'm meeting with my clients. You know, the big scary soldiers that might buy our weapons. Now shut up, arvumaa, you're whole image problem isn't sexy at all."
Galm groaned loud enough to carry through the bar, clearing the desert off his plate and using the saucer as a mirror to fix his hair before adjusting his posture and shooting a pained glance at Niina. She looked different now than when they first met. She was slightly taller now and more... Full? Her tattoos were also absent, along with her heterochromia and the bulk of the genetic illnesses she had since birth. Her body was still unmistakable Niina, but far more dignified and beautiful than when he first caught glimpse of her. He didn't think it could be possible, but she somehow made herself even more gorgeous.
Ironic, considering how amendment she was that Galm never made and rash cosmetic adjustments to his own clone.
"So... What would you have me tell the booze-droid my dear?"
"Have them bring me an Amarr Victor. And so help me ancestors, if it isn't mixed right I'm going to get behind that counter and make it my own gods damned self."

As Joshua Conway awoke in his leisure clone, he heard her voice.
GÇ£So what do you want to do today?GÇ¥ asked Adenine
GÇ£Well we could catch another Thukker Caravan. Those pancakes of theirs were pretty good. What do you say?GÇ¥ replied Josh.
GǣThey were good. ButGǪ. I felt like everyone there was staring at us. Like they had never seen an immortal before.Gǥ
GÇ£Oh come on, you are just imagining things. But if you donGÇÖt want to go thatGÇÖs fine. We could stay in station and watch some movies. WeGÇÖd only have to kill a couple days before we head back to Gallentean space.GÇ¥
GÇ£BlekGǪ I want to go have fun. This is as close to a vacation as weGÇÖve gotten for a while. Accepting contract, chasing leads, killing pirates, plus some other stuff in between. Look, I want to find her as much as you do, but I also want to forget my nightmares, even for a just few hours.GÇ¥
Josh sighed. GÇ£Alright, what did you have in mind?GÇ¥
GǣWellGǪ. I was snooping through your chat room logs and IGǪGǥ
GÇ£YOU WHAT?!GÇ¥
GÇ£Oh relax. You sure do have some interesting conversations with some interesting characters. A Pixy Highball? A DeathGÇÖs Door? That is some serious ****, Josh. I think I need to talk to you later about that,GÇ¥ she said with a concerned face. GÇ£Anyway, I saw a thread about this new caf+¬ opening up called the Tribal Spear. ItGÇÖs immortal friendly and in our area. So, can we go? Please?GÇ¥
GǣUghGǪ.Gǥ
GÇ£PLEEEAAASSSEEEEE!!!!!GÇ¥
GÇ£Yes, yes, yes! Fine! Go grab your coat and your Ion Pistol,GÇ¥ caved in Josh doing the same.
Before leaving he grabbed a pair of glasses and a watch. Lastly, he put a small headset in his right ear.
As the pair left the station quarters Josh spoke into the headset.
GÇ£Irina, get a shuttle ready with the coordinates to the Tribal Spear,GÇ¥ commanded Josh.
GÇ£Yes, sir. I see you two are finally going out to have some fun,GÇ¥ replied JoshGÇÖs A.I.
GÇ£No, Irina, IGÇÖll probably be the only one having fun. HeGÇÖll probably be worried about an impending attack the whole time,GÇ¥ laughed Adenine.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________
The flight was short but nauseating. Josh never felt safe in Minmatar ships. He always feared they would break apart mid-flight.
GÇ£For the love of GodGǪ IGÇÖm glad the duct tape held together,GÇ¥ he said.
As they approached the establishment Adenine had a large smile on her face, while Josh had a grimace. He kept wondering just how GÇÿimmortal friendlyGÇÖ this place was.
The interior was nice, but nowhere near as nice as some places near his home in Gallentean space. But nevertheless, his grimace disappeared. The Caldari and Minmatar influences in the place somehow blended so well, and it felt very home-ie, and comforting. One thing bothered him though, and he went up to the mortal bartender.
GÇ£UhmGǪ excuse me. IGÇÖm sorry to bother you, butGǪ. Where are all the other immortals?GÇ¥ he said meekly.
The bartender smiled and shook his head as he pointed to the elevator doors in the back of the caf+¬. GÇ£OhGǪ Thank you,GÇ¥ said Josh with an embarrassed look on his face.
The two made their way to the elevator and were stopped by the bouncer.
GÇ£Evening folks. IGÇÖm going to have to ask you both for your Ion Pistols,GÇ¥ said the bouncer pointing to their weapons.
GÇ£What? Why? How am I supposed to know that someone in there who might have a grudge against me doesnGÇÖt have a weapon!GÇ¥ said Josh in a stern voice.
The bouncer smiled and shook his head, opening up the small armory of other guestsGÇÖ weapons for Josh to see.
GÇ£OhGǪ. Thank you,GÇ¥ said Josh, handing over his and AdenineGÇÖs pistols, firmly placing his face in his palm.
GÇ£ItGÇÖs ok,GÇ¥ said Adenine to the bouncer laughing hysterically. GÇ£IGÇÖll take care of him.GÇ¥
Josh used the elevator ride down to the VIP room to recoup and pull himself together.
GÇ£You owe me for this, Adi.GÇ¥
GÇ£I know, thank you. Just try to relax and have fun.GÇ¥
As the doors slid open, he saw many faces. None that he knew, of course, due to the fact that if he HAD seen them, they had a grey fetus face at the time.
Josh tapped on his glasses, activating a small camera in them. GÇ£Irina, whoGÇÖs here?GÇ¥
Irina activated her facial recognition software, cross-referencing the faces to pictures on the Net.
GǣIt seems there are four immortals here whom you have spoken to, one of which you encountered personally,Gǥ reported Irina. GǣNames you would recognize, True Adamance, Galm Fae, and Hunter Junko who recently suggested your last visit to a Thukker Caravan. The last is Jonny D Buelle, whom you encountered duringGǪ.Gǥ
GÇ£Thank you, Irina,GÇ¥ said Josh, cutting off Irina on the last person.
AdenineGÇÖs eyes opened. GÇ£Wait, Jonny? IsnGÇÖt he the one you met duringGǪGÇ¥
GǣYesGǪGǥ
GÇ£And didnGÇÖt he and his team captureGǪGÇ¥
GÇ£Yes!GÇ¥
GÇ£And didnGÇÖt his daughterGǪGÇ¥
GÇ£YES, ADENINE! YESSSSSSS! Now enough!GÇ¥ said Josh, visibly disturbed as he recalled what happened.
GÇ£Sorry. LetGÇÖs go get a drink.GÇ¥
The two made their way over to the bar where Galm was sitting with another female, whom he could only guess was his wife Niina.
Galm Fae wrote:"So... What would you have me tell the booze-droid my dear?"
Niina Fae wrote:"Have them bring me an Amarr Victor. And so help me ancestors, if it isn't mixed right I'm going to get behind that counter and make it my own gods damned self."
"I'll have the same," said Adenine to the droid, smiling at Niina.
"And give me a smooth Spiced Rum and Quafe please," said Josh. "Galm, oyin hova nahui uka. (Galm, its good to see you.) Adenine, this is Galm Fae and his wife Niina, if I am correct. We've never met in person, but we've had a few conversations in some chat rooms on the Net."

Kador shrugged ambivalently clapping the heavy set Templar on the shoulder as if to reassure him that perhaps somehow this place might be different. He well knew Thal had spent much of his time amongst the regional holders in the galactic east of the Empire, their territories bordering on the low security regions of Devoid and The Bleak Lands.
For all their nobility and graces Kador misliked Holders and their ilk, he could rightly understand why their politics and machinations might have upset a traditionalist soldier like those who comprised the Vadam family.
"Then forget them brother the Empire won't fall apart while I buy you a drink." He said jokingly, gesturing for the deceptively older warrior to follow him back to the tables. " Or do you feel like nursing that broken heart some more? Come on over and sit with us."

Viktor was laying in his rather confining resting area when he received a poorly timed Neocom message from his favourite Matari immortal, Hya'salia, about some new joint called The Tribal Spear.
Viktor let out an irritated grunt before rising, forgetting about the metal above his head and paying in pain as his head slammed against the metal that surrounded his bedding on all sides with the exception of his left, which is where he exited and entered the bedding.
"Argh, too used to the old home..." He sighed, remembering his old quarters, consisting of an open bed with silk pillows and a bar of his own. He missed the old place, but ever since the incident, he could not return.
"Well, it looks as if I have somewhere to go now, perhaps..." He started thinking. "Well, I better get ready."
Viktor began to dress himself, black cargo jeans, a dark blue shirt, and the orange and black jacket given to him by someone very special to him. He ran his hand through his messy, dark brown hair, allowing it to fall into it's usual place.
He arrived, accompanied by a female of Gallente decent. He stopped to look around and figured he would go to the VIP area.
"You are neither Amarr, Caldari, Gallente nor Minmatar as long as you inhabit these premises."
There are so many ways that could be taken offensively. Viktor thought as he passed the sign to enter the building.
Upon entering, Viktor recognized quite a few people. Thal, Kador, Hya'stalia, Jonny and Galm being the most notable. Deciding it best to greet Hya'stalia first, he, along with his female counterpart, made their way towards the Matari immortal.
"Good evening, Hya'stalia, let me introduce you to Solantu." He motioned to the Gallentean female, now known as Solantu.

He paused for a moment. Wife. That word seemed so abstract. So absolute. As if their marriage had meant anything more to the other than yet another business transaction. They loved each other dearly, that much was certain. The night he wed himself to Niina and they spoke their vows under that raging storm on Caldari Prime was one of the happiest moments of his life, rivaled only by the unlikely survival of a friend he had thought dead. But the idea of marriage, to rely on a legally binding promise to honor and protect the other for all time, seemed so bitter and disenchanting than maintaining a close and loving relationship through sure force of will alone.
And to call her his wife. He couldn't help but huff to himself as he eyed her there, lifting her cocktail to her nose to smell the rose bud floating in the top of her glass before becoming painfully aware of how long of a pause Galm had already taken. Wife. Wife was... Inaccurate. Wives were mothers, homemakers... Abha "Firn" Fae. Mother of Galm Fae. Wife of Falken Fae. That felt right. But Niina was... She was different.
Their lifestyle was fundamentally different from what Galm was born into. They traveled appart so there was never any need for a homemaker, and Niina had long since been incapable of having children. She wasn't a wife... Not in the since that Galm had always expected. She was more like his--
"Partner, Niina."
She scowled at him, removing the rose bud from her drink before downing the entirty of her cocktail in a single swig before slamming the glass against the bar.
"A pleasure."
She rolled her eyes for a moment before taking off her leather coat to reveal a grey and white tank top underneith, her forarms adorned with a variety of leather bracelets and rapidly appearing nanotattooes.
Oh no, Galm lamented to himself, She... She turned on her ink. Why did she turn on her ink? Was it somethin-- Oh. Oh no.
"Actually," she began, her geometric tattoos fast appearing like they had been cloaked this entire time, "Why ruin perfectly good whiskey with Quafe? How about I buy us the best gods damn bottle in this building and we can drink the whole damn thing right here right now?"

"How curious," he said to Kyoto, "my father would have mentioned working with a Caldari, especially if it's not Slim. Unless of course you are Slim but decided to switch to a ravishingly beautiful woman," he said the last part jokingly.
"Then again, my father is a private man, didn't know about his part in the business till years after I met him. Hell it was only two months ago did he tell me where to find my daughter. Dirty old bastard has too many secrets for my liking."
