So, been sort of wanting to make some quick 4-5 minute videos that immerse the viewer in a way. Last night I sat down and recorded some placeholder footage from two matches of Amarr FW so I could put together a teaser/test/proof of concept video. Bear in mind that this video has placeholder footage, audio clips (military radio chatter from Vietnam), and generic text that was thrown in for the sake of it, so don't judge it too harshly for what it is so much as what it's designed to illustrate.
The idea here is that I want to make a cinematic video for each of the four factions using video footage taken -exclusively- from Faction Warfare. I'd -like- to have a handful of people (at least 7 others) participating in relevant gear across different battles/maps.
Thoughts? Anyone down to help? Lemme know

Nice vid! The game play itself was very good, though obviously short, but I think the Vietnam radio chatter is kind of mis-leading (I will say, however, it sounded pretty cool anyway)... I'm not sure from your OP if you are saying you intend to keep to Vietnam chatter but imo you need to have DUST comms to properly demonstrate what is found in-game...
Be just and if you can't be just be arbitrary.

Yeah, I intend to have actual in-game comms recorded but it's sort of finicky to do because my capture card -REALLY- does not like separate audio channels. I can run the audio through the HDMI and record it that way but then I'd have to run voice comms through my TV and we all know how much of a hassle that is =P
The way I -plan- on doing it is joining the voice channel through Eve and recording the comms separately via my PC, then editing the bits in that way.

Well, I've got a ton of footage for Gallente FW, some that haven't even made it to Youtube yet because of backlog and CPM stuff. So I'd gladly help you out with the Gallente if you wantage footage or any other kind of help.
Speaking of which, here's a new Sgt Kirk Video:

That Backlog chatter I feel was spot on though....heheheh, I wonder what Spanish military backlog chatter sounds like....?
For Gallente we should record a French highschool cafeteria to get that Gallente, no fucks given attitude we seem to have in battle... JK....or am I?

What I'd love to do is a short clip where the both of us are firing on the same target but the scene is split diagonally to show both perspectives. Sort of like this but, yanno, with Dust 514.

I used to do splitscreen videos with silver, and I'm sure I could pitch in with faction footage. I am dealing with a big backlog of footage however, but I'm sure I can pitch in let me know when you have a specific request.

I'm in if we align time wise. I can wrangle several other Amarrian players if you want footage of squads running about.

I really wish I could figure out how to get the no HUD glitch to work with some form of reliability but yanno, the HUD itself isn't exactly lore breaking x3 Well. Save for the whole WP accumulation deal, lawl.

Though I was thinking three tanks two supporting LAV, 9 rank and file infantry, the commander, and you somewhere in that formation.

It sounds fantastic but the problem is getting 16-32 people that will actually listen and not screw off as soon as the match starts, lmfao.

One of the videos I went ahead and published.
You are free to use any of that you like or if you would like me to dual box with any specific setup to make it look better just let me know. There are a few good ones there mainly at the end of the first match where I run up top and pull the trigger on my orbital giving a great view of it leaving my ship and landing on the bridge.
Edit:
Here is the point in the video I would recommend.
Remove NPC orbitals from FW. -- Fix orbital timers for Eve players assisting in Planetary Conquest.

Scenario.
8 guys spawn in mcc and 8 on spawning ground. Same on the other side.
SL gives order for 1 lav 1 dropship and 1 tank on both teams.Same on the other side.
4 ponit objective. We rush the 2 objectives near our team then we duke it out in the middle.
Death and destruction all around. Lots of confusion, cursing and screaming all around the battle.

Went and learned some tricks. You can see these tricks in the first ten seconds of this new test rendition.
Fun Fact: Those ten seconds took me about three to four hours to effectively make work and render. New software is fun >_>;;;
