So, been sort of wanting to make some quick 4-5 minute videos that immerse the viewer in a way. Last night I sat down and recorded some placeholder footage from two matches of Amarr FW so I could put together a teaser/test/proof of concept video. Bear in mind that this video has placeholder footage, audio clips (military radio chatter from Vietnam), and generic text that was thrown in for the sake of it, so don't judge it too harshly for what it is so much as what it's designed to illustrate.
The idea here is that I want to make a cinematic video for each of the four factions using video footage taken -exclusively- from Faction Warfare. I'd -like- to have a handful of people (at least 7 others) participating in relevant gear across different battles/maps.
Thoughts? Anyone down to help? Lemme know

Yeah, I intend to have actual in-game comms recorded but it's sort of finicky to do because my capture card -REALLY- does not like separate audio channels. I can run the audio through the HDMI and record it that way but then I'd have to run voice comms through my TV and we all know how much of a hassle that is =P
The way I -plan- on doing it is joining the voice channel through Eve and recording the comms separately via my PC, then editing the bits in that way.

What I'd love to do is a short clip where the both of us are firing on the same target but the scene is split diagonally to show both perspectives. Sort of like this but, yanno, with Dust 514.

Oh man, I'd love to have a scene with two tanks, some support LAVs, and infantry all in formation being ambushed. That'd be fantabulous.
I really wish I could figure out how to get the no HUD glitch to work with some form of reliability but yanno, the HUD itself isn't exactly lore breaking x3 Well. Save for the whole WP accumulation deal, lawl.

Though I was thinking three tanks two supporting LAV, 9 rank and file infantry, the commander, and you somewhere in that formation.
It sounds fantastic but the problem is getting 16-32 people that will actually listen and not screw off as soon as the match starts, lmfao.

Went and learned some tricks. You can see these tricks in the first ten seconds of this new test rendition.
Fun Fact: Those ten seconds took me about three to four hours to effectively make work and render. New software is fun >_>;;;
