Thanaions (This is derived from two Greek words. The first part, Than, is that of Thanatos, or death. But since the Gallente carrier in Eve Online is called the Thanatos, we couldn't very well be called that as well. The second part, Aion, is that of Aionios, or eternal. Death Eternal since we are Eternal beings that either give death or receive it.)

Wouldn't be entirely bad to have more than one term, as that provides a breadth of culture and application. Having something longer/more formal and something more bite sized/lower syllable count.
Personally I'd lean toward Thanaions for the formal and Bennu (or some conjugation there of) for the more common use case. This also provides some interesting context and interplay between the implications/interactions of each term.

Anyone can be a Mercenary, mortal or immortal. Capsuleer or foot soldier. DUSTIES is as close as we have to a unique name for just ourselves. Guess I will have to live with that.
