Most of them I would never vote for personally. I see something wrong with all of them, and now their lashing out at each other. most of the guys on that list are narrow minded, wanting the CPM tag just for lolz. Aeon is basically the only person on that list that *Actually cares* about the comunity. I will say I voted for 4 people, the other 3 will remain secrets, but Aeon got my vote for sure. now people are commenting me 'why didn't you run for CPM?' my answer was 'I can't, age restrictions' and well... I am not lying either. good luck i guess to me in 2 years for the next CPM election, any supporters for that? (^-^)

Well, you've gotta hand it to Aeon, he certainly is passionate. I haven't voted yet and I'm umming and uhhing over whether to vote for him or not. I think if he got in, he'd give CCP a good kick up the arse, and that might be what they need.

If you're concern with CPM is the possibility of not caring rest assure that Aeon absolutely cares. Of course, any of the CPM that have been with the game for a long time obviously care. If not, we would have been gone a long time ago, especially when they announced that they were going to ditch DUST for Legion.

I don't thnk Aeon is a particularly good candidate. I just don't think he has the attitude for it.
If he gets elected though, it'll be fun for him to discover how much he can't magically do.

Despite that, he will make a great CPM. I'm sure i dont have to vote, seeing as my other self has secured the ballot witth his awesomeness.

attitude? I love his attitude!
When an update went wrong? What did Aeon's attitude do? He is the type of person who voices his concerns. He offers his own ideas and solutions. He can be visibly upset at ccp and updates that have proven to be detrimental to the game.
What did other actual CPM do? They played destiny and admit it. Where is their actions and contributions? Half of the people who you support I feel have done nothing. It seems like you only support them because you talk to them every single day in your little skype group. Voting for your friends instead of who would do this game best. Aeon cares about this more than most of the previous cpm and that is enough for me.
It is your job to relay the communities messages and ideas to ccp and how much did CPM1 actually do that? Aeon has sparked dozens more debates with 10 times more players than anyone in cpm1 just here on the forums. He is extremely accessible. How many ideas did cpm1 ever come up with and ask the community what they think? Aeon has ideas all the damn time and players from all over the world give their input on wether they love it or hate it. Sure you can call upon biomassed but you are practically debating against the same 5 people every week.. same 5 people. What about the rest of the community? AEON represents everything CPM1 lacked.

Cross Atu. Gathered more information, in more constructive manners than aeon ever has IMO. I run into cross atu in FW all the time and occasionally join his squads for an hour or two.

Aeon's attitude is combative, GJR. He assumes the worst , and most of his views on what the CPM has done (or not done) are patently false. His attack at me in a theread yesterday, is a great example of this. If he's able to modify his attitude quick enough to avoid getting himself booted off a CPM, he'll likely be about as unproductive as the rest of us terrible people who get nothing done.

Good points.
Attitude and ability to work in a team are just as important as good ideas and enjoying the game.
Maybe more important. It's easy to over simplify the problems. I often see posts like: "Why doesn't CCP balance all the guns / fix tanks / improve performance / add all the vehicles".
Those things are obvious and CCP doesn't need the CPM to remind them, especially when people point out the problems, but don't offer any specific solutions.
Anyways, I agree with Soraya. In my interactions with Aeon I get the impression he would be a net loss on a group trying to work together, especially considering the inherant criticism involved in being CPM.
I wouldn't be surprised if Aeon rage quit the CPM after finding out things wouldn't go his way.

He seems like the kind of kid that received participation trophies as rewards for simply showing up.
If you find yourself thinking these type of trophies are silly vote Dust User for CPM. |
