Saw this post and though it needed a little more detail. I've experienced the "Superman" effect and have been able (with effort) to recreate it. It happens when it you stick your Merc in a tight corner (Like trying to jump a turret head or trying to jump in the corner of some rocks.) After pulling it off I was able to shoot and through grenades to the ground and other Mercs would take damage. Its something that should be addressed because it will be exploited once others find out how.
Please forgive if there are already other posts on this bug.

Interesting! As I remember it, I was unable to shoot while flying like that. And, just saying, I've already created a thread on this matter. |

Yeah i dont think i could shoot when it happened to me but maybe it depends on context to how you got the superman effect?
In any case it can still be used to scout out places and people ahead, so its still significant issue. Im not sure how it is for you guys but i can never make distances with it or anything, i just get kinda tele'd back to the ground |

Overall, this glitch is really strange. Hopefully, CCP gets rid of it by the upcoming weekend, as I see more and more threads appearing on this matter.
