So the empress is apparently building a new type of battleship in the amarr system "Safizon", and it's been pretty well protected by the amarr navy for the most part.
Until today when ~150 drifter battleships showed up and WRECKED the amarr navy in safizon, then started pulling station & gatecamps.

There was a twitch stream of the station camp, but as of this post it seems all the drifters have warped off to a different place.
Important to note that this is entirely NPC vs NPC actions (drifers as I understand are coded in such a manner that they examine and repeat player behaviour).

Because concord is an agency that deals solely with capsuleers. Neither the amarr navy or drifters are recognized as capsuleers.

I was semi-incorrect in my original statement, initially it was kind of like a united nations, then capsuleers came along and concord was empowered in a number of ways so as to prevent capsuleers from upsetting the balance of power between the nations.
Whatever differences exist between the amarr empire and drifters exist solely between them, capsuleers are essentially independent entities as well and hold their own responsibility for whatever issues they cause with drifters.
Drifter motives are still unclear at the moment as they've not really done anything but fight with the amarr or capsuleers that engaged them.

Even jokingly I don't really care to listen to whiny off topic self-aggrandizing crap. It's pitiful "woe is me, we have it soooooooo bad" negativity that offers no solutions. I don't subscribe to "bittervet" junk and I don't really care to listen to it, especially from would-be community representatives.
Honestly, I expect better from kirk being as he's running for cpm. And yes I can get away with this commentary because I represent no one but myself.

I never did say you aspired to be a dev, only that I'm glad you aren't.
3) On the subject of Kirk, that lag joke was far from "self-aggrandizing" since no part about it stated or was meat to imply anything positive about the teller of the joke, and in fact the comment made no reference to its teller.
There is nothing wrong with anyone, including a potential CPM, making a joke about lag. It isn't a joke that hurts anyone (unless you're a human personification of lag). It's not bitterness to recognize issues exist.
4) What is actually wrong is people completely going cray-cray over harmless jokes about a flaw.
1) No one is twisting kirks arm to play, if he can't accept the game in the state that it is without whining about how it isn't perfect (despite "lag" being something that is being worked on) then maybe he shouldnt play. No one wants to listen to a whiner.
2) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominem . Technically you are correct, you didn't "attack" me directly, but you did make some wonderful implications, largely via hyperbole about the statement I made. Maybe I should have called you on slander, as that's more accurate.

Aren't I a hip and edgy bittervet like everyone else! man I'm so cool *high fives all around" - what goes on kirks head as he makes stupid off topic bittervet statement. I've listened to far too many people who want to complain about things that aren't actually problems - or are problems that are being worked on - to find these 'jokes' anything other that trite, insipid, uninformed and stupid.
4) "LEAVE KIRK ALONE, HE'S ALLOWED HIS OPINION". His opinion is stupid.
